Upset Picks for This Week’s College Football Games – November 21, 2020

| November 17, 2020 2:00 pm PDT

If you’re searching for upset picks for college football this weekend, you’ve landed on a useful page. In this post, you can forget about the favorites and forget about laying any juice. None of that is applicable.

I’m strictly zeroing in on the best college football upset picks on November 21st.

Here’s the reveal.

Fresno State Bulldogs (+120)

San Jose State is off to a surprise 4-0 start. They took care of business against Air Force and beat a hard-nosed SDSU squad on a neutral field. With that being said, Saturday’s game in Fresno marks the first true road game for the Spartans this season.

On the other hand, the Bulldogs are battle-tested after traveling to UNLV and Utah State over the last two weeks. Fresno State is also riding momentum after notching double-digit victories in each of those contests. WR Jalen Cropper is coming off a monstrous outing in Logan.

I don’t expect SJSU to be looking ahead to next weekend’s showdown at Boise State, I just happen to think they’ll stub their toe in the “Raisin Capital of the World.”

South Carolina Gamecocks (+175)

Things were getting so dreary in Columbia that the athletic department said the heck with the $13+ million buyout. They wanted to get Will Muschamp out as fast as they could, so in comes Mike Bobo.

I’ve lost count of how many times a football team comes out guns blazing immediately following the dismissal of their head coach. However, I know it happens all the time.

In some cases, players are amped up because the guy they wanted to be fired was axed. In other instances, players are restless about the decision and want to let some anger out.

Either way, the Gamecocks are going to be ultra-motivated for when they take the field at Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday. Missouri’s offense has been sketchy all year and the Tigers haven’t played a game since Halloween.

Book South Carolina as one of your top upset picks for college football this weekend.

Oregon State Beavers (+155)

Oregon State hasn’t gotten off to the start they were hoping for. The passing game has struggled and their rushing defense has been miserable. Nevertheless, a home game versus the Golden Bears appears to be the perfect formula for righting the ship.

Cal was embarrassed last weekend against a UCLA team that many expected to be the bottom-dweller in the Pac-12. The Bears rushed the ball for 54 yards and converted under 29% of their third downs against a Bruins defense that is shockingly bad.

To be frank, I wouldn’t have batted an eye had this game been installed as a Pick’Em. The Beavers lurking at +155 to win the game outright is what makes this one of the best upset picks for college football on Saturday.

There’s a lot of upside attached to the best NCAAF upset picks this weekend. However, you may be more interested in backing some favorites or attacking the totals.

The good news is the post below showcases the best of both worlds.
