If you’re here to find the latest betting odds for Oliveira vs. Chandler, as well as the best bets for the fight, I’ll be sharing them with you today. As it stands, the top UFC betting sites have Oliveira as a moderate favorite to beat Chandler, and I’ll also be touching on where the betting value is to be found.
This bout is the main event of the evening in Houston, Texas. It should be an incredible way to cap off a solid night of fights, so make sure to stick with me as I make my predictions and betting pick for Oliveira vs. Chandler.
Let’s get to it.
Oliveira vs. Chandler – Who Wins?
- Michael Chandler to Win by KO/TKO
My Oliveira vs. Chandler predictions and pick will make total sense by the time you get to the bottom of the page.
It’s worth noting right now, however, that my prediction for Chandler to beat Oliveira is one that took me a little while to get to. As with fights where there is no clear favorite, it should take time to work out what could make the most difference on the night.
As I explain further down, both guys are major players at 155-pounds with legitimate chances to win.
Let’s see where you could potentially make money betting on UFC 262’s main event before explaining the thought process behind my pick.
Latest Odds for Oliveira vs. Chandler
Oliveira’s odds to beat Chandler will be good enough for many bettors to take.
Since being released a couple of months ago, the betting line for Oliveira-Chandler hasn’t changed much at all. This reflects the hard time the bookies and bettors are trying to separate “Do Bronx” and “Iron Mike.”
This fight is not too far removed from a pick’em. So, if you are wagering on Oliveira vs. Chandler and looking for the betting value, there is a little to be had on the latter.
Other than a straight bet on who wins, there are some great odds for this fight in the Oliveira-Chandler props.
Let’s take a look at my three recommended wagers.
Best Bets for Oliveira vs. Chandler
The first of my top bets for Chandler vs. Oliveira is Chandler to win.
I would recommend putting your money down on the moneyline bet of your choice, as the market is good enough for either guy here. Of course, Chandler has slightly better odds.
However, if you are looking to make more money betting on Chandler at UFC 262, take him to win by KO/TKO. Although he has a stellar NCAA Division I All-American background in wrestling, as well as a decent submission game, his best chance of winning this fight is by KO/TKO.
Following that, Chandler’s more likely to finish Oliveira in the first round than any other.
Why Chandler Beats Oliveira
Is Michael Chandler a better fighter than Charles Oliveira?
Maybe he is, maybe he is not. The more important question to ask yourself is, does he have the style to beat Oliveira?
I think he does. And I can say that without having to bring up the fact that Chandler is a three-time Bellator world champion with a better overall resume. Sure, Oliveira is on an eight-fight streak, but his best wins are over Kevin Lee and an aged Tony Ferguson.
Oliveira holds the record for the most submissions in UFC history. His wrestling has improved drastically. And his Muay Thai striking style makes him a monster on the feet. But the explosive, pressure-fighting style of Chandler will see that streak snapped.
My betting pick for Oliveira vs. Chandler is a first-round KO/TKO win for the American. I can see him catching Oliveira within the first couple of minutes and taking the title.
What Oliveira has done to get this far should not be discounted. He’s a beast, but I don’t think it’s going to be his night.

More Oliveira vs. Chandler Betting Advice
I’m backing Michael Chandler to knock Charles Oliveira out at UFC 262 this Saturday.
This hasn’t been an easy one to call, but I see Oliveira’s four knockout losses coming back to haunt him in what will be the biggest fight of his life. Chandler has been there and worn the t-shirt multiple times before and will benefit from that experience and the composure that comes with it.
If you’re still unsure about this one, I’d suggest checking out my early analysis for Oliveira vs. Chandler. It has a more thorough breakdown of the stylistic matchup involved in the fight and could help you settle on the right bets.
