Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season will wrap up Tuesday night with the AFC clash between the Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak among their squad, the Titans were on a bye last week, so Mike Vrabel’s team will try to overcome all the problems and improve to 4-0 on the season.

However, the Bills are another undefeated team that will be very tough to beat, so I expect to see a great battle at Nissan Stadium. Here’s my best Bills vs. Titans betting pick along with the latest odds update.

Bills vs. Titans Odds

Bills -3.5-110
Titans +3.5-110
Bills to Win-180
Titans to Win+160
Over 53.5-105
Under 53.5-115

The Titans had to close down their facilities two weeks ago, returning to practice this past Thursday. That could be a big issue for Tennessee, so the bookies set the Bills as firm -180 moneyline favorites.

Buffalo has impressed thus far, but I think the Titans would have been listed as home favorites in this one under normal circumstances.

Buffalo Bills Preview

The Bills are 4-0 straight up and 3-1 ATS on the season, proving they are a real deal this season. They are coming off a convincing 30-23 road victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, tallying their eighth win in the last 11 outings away from home.

Josh Allen leads the way for Buffalo, and the 24-year-old signal-caller has already tossed for 1,326 yards, 12 touchdowns, and only one interception. Allen has also added three scores on his own, but it’s obvious that the Bills’ passing game has improved a lot this term.

Buffalo averages 30.8 points per game (5th in the NFL) on 409.8 total yards (3rd). Still, the Bills tally just 93.5 rushing yards per contest (28th), so there’s a lot of room for improvement. On the other side of the ball, they surrender 25.0 points (16th) on 381.3 total yards per game (19th).

Tennessee Titans Preview

The Titans have won their first three games of the 2020 season, but they’ve failed to cover on all three occasions. Tennessee opened with a 16-14 victory at the Denver Broncos. The Titans outlasted Jacksonville 33-30 in Week 2, while they narrowly defeated Minnesota 31-30 as 3-point road favorites in Week 3.

Ryan Tannehill has thrown for 809 yards, six scores, and one interception so far, completing 67.3% of his passing attempts. Derrick Henry continues to torture his opponents, recording 82 carries for 319 yards and a couple of touchdowns through the first three weeks, while TE Jonnu Smith has 13 catches for 181 yards and three touchdowns.

The Titans score 26.7 points per game (14th) on 391.7 total yards (12th) while conceding 24.7 points in a return (15th) on 422.3 total yards (30th).

Bills vs. Titans Pick

Both Buffalo and Tennessee have had some defensive issues through the first three weeks of the new season. While the Bills had more than a week to work on their issues, the Titans couldn’t practice due to the COVID-19 crisis.

I think that’s going to be a key difference, so I’m backing the Bills to win straight up at -180 odds. Both teams will be fresh, but the Titans’ lack of practice could be a massive problem.

The Titans have won eight of their last 12 matchups with the Bills, but they are winless in the previous three encounters with Buffalo. These two AFC foes will meet for the third straight year, and the Bills beat the Titans 13-12 in 2018 and 14-7 in 2019.
