I’ve got picks for UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Rozenstruik. Better yet, I have odds for the fights, also known as UFC Vegas 56, for you to look at.

The card goes down at the Apex in Las Vegas this Saturday, June 4. Although it’s far from a bumper event, there are a few solid UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Rozenstruik bets that I’d like to share with you. If you’re looking to make some money from the UFC this weekend, stick with me for those.

I’ll be making what I see as the best UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Rozenstruik betting picks later. But before I go any further, here’s how the fighters are priced.

Latest Odds for UFC Vegas 56

  • Andreas Michailidis (+215) vs. Rinat Fakhretdinov (-255)
  • Erin Blanchfield (-505) vs. JJ Aldrich (+380)

A quick glance at the betting lines for UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Rozenstruik shows that the card is not as evenly balanced as we have come to expect from similar events.

Although the odds for Volkov vs. Rozenstruick in the main event are sound, there do appear to be more than a few big favorites. For example, Movsar Evloev is -410 to beat Dan Ige. That’s a pretty hefty price for a co-main event. Does this say more about the gulf in class or the matchup itself?

Erin Blanchfield’s odds for UFC Vegas 56 come in at -505. While Damon Jackson won’t make many lists of the top betting picks for UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Rozenstruik at -625.

More on those fights later. First, let’s see the full lineup for this weekend’s UFC including the divisions of all matchups.

The full UFC Vegas 56 fight card has been announced. Anyone hoping for diversity across the roster shouldn’t be too upset, given there are plenty of matchups from multiple divisions.

A common complaint with this event, however, is the lack of star power. While Volkov and Rozenstruik are both rated highly in the latest UFC fighter rankings, the overall quality of the fights leaves a little to be desired. But if you’re betting on UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Rozenstruik, I’ll be explaining why that is not necessarily a bad thing.

Aside from the main event, the biggest selling points of the card are the following bouts.

  • Dan Ige vs. Movsar Evloev
  • Alonzo Menifield vs. Askar Mozharov
  • Felice Herrig vs. Karolina Kowalkiewicz

Again, this card is not exactly what you would call stacked. But that doesn’t mean that you cannot win money from your UFC Vegas 56 betting picks, does it?

I’m going to get to my top bets for UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Rozenstruik after I make my predictions for the main card, as well as the prelims fights on the menu.

Predictions and Pick for Alexander Volkov vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik

  • Division: Heavyweight
  • Favorite: Volkov (-159)
  • Predicted Winner: Rozenstruik

Is this a battle of the heavyweight gatekeepers? If so, who wins the Volkov vs. Jairzinho fight might not be the most crucial question. That would probably be “what happens to the loser?”

It’s all to play for this Saturday, with the UFC Vegas 56 betting odds indicating that this could be a close one. Russia’s Volkov comes into the fight as the favorite, but only slightly. He’s coming off a submission loss to England’s Tom Aspinall, who I predicted to be among the UFC fighters set for a breakout year in 2022.

Although Volkov’s submission loss to Aspinall will sting, he does not need to concern himself with losing the battle on the ground this weekend.

Rozenstruik is also coming off a loss. He managed to go the distance with Curtis Blaydes at UFC 266 in September 2021. That leaves the Surinamese fighter with a 2-3 record since being knocked out by Francis Ngannou in May 2020.

Of all my predictions for UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Rozenstruik, this is the one that has caused me the most headaches. Neither fighter has looked like world-beaters in recent times, meaning a case could be made for why either man can lose this fight. On the other hand, arguing in favor of why either man should win is a much tougher prospect.

This is a five-round fight, however, and that could end up suiting Rozenstruik. Volkov’s greatest assets are his ability to fight from outside of his opponent’s range, but his ability to maintain a high level of cardio is slipping. It will take him 25 minutes to avoid getting caught by the hard-hitting underdog, while all Rozenstruik needs is that one shot.

At odds of +140 to win, Rozenstruk is the first of my picks for UFC Vegas 56.

Dan Ige vs. Movsar Evloev Betting Tips with Preview

  • Division: Featherweight
  • Favorite: Evloev (-410)
  • Predicted Winner: Evloev

Movsar Evloev is looking to make it a perfect 16-0 when he steps into the cage against Dan Ige this Saturday.

A decision machine, Evloev’s UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Rozenstruik betting odds make him a little too far out of reach on the moneyline. That’s a personal assertion, of course. There will be still some bettors who might look to build a UFC Vegas 56 parlay around the Russian, and that’s cool.

Ige is 2-3 from his last five having lost the last pair on the bounce by way of decision. The Korean Zombie and Josh Emmett took the American to the judges’ scorecards in 2021, meaning this will be his first bout of this year.

Although Ige will put up a fight, he does tend to struggle against fighters with solid fundamentals. He has decent power, but it’s not prolific enough to suggest throwing it all on him to knock his man out. While that is a possibility, Evloev looks to be a little too careful to find himself giving up his chin.

This one is pretty straightforward for me. Thus, the pick is Evolev to win. But as I’m not too keen on the moneyline, and Ige has never been stopped, I’m on the UFC Vegas 56 props at the best UFC betting sites for Evloev to win by decision (-200).

More UFC Vegas 56 Predictions and Picks

  • Michael Trizano to Beat Lucas Almeida by Decision
  • Karine Silva to Beat Poliana Botelho by Submission
  • Ode’ Osbourne to Beat Zarrukh Adashev by KO/TKO
  • Alonzo Menifield to Beat Askar Mozharov by KO/TKO

If you’re looking to bet on UFC Vegas 56, here are the rest of my predictions for the main card.

I’m taking Trizano to come out on top in his fight with Almeida. That should be an interesting fight for sure, but one that the American is primed to win. You can back Trizano on the line, if you choose to. But at +100 for a decision victory, that bet makes sense to me.

Silva to beat Botelho in an all-Brazilian bout is another top bet for UFC Vegas 56. With that, I’m also making predictions for Osbourne to beat Adashev by KO/TKO and Menifield to finish Mozharov the same way.

UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Rozenstruik Prelims Picks

  • Felice Herrig to Beat Karolina Kowalkiewicz by KO/TKO
  • Joe Solecki to Beat Alex da Silva Coelho by Decision
  • Damon Jackson to Beat Daniel Argueta by Submission
  • Benoit Saint-Denis to Beat Niklas Stolze by Submission
  • Tony Gravely to Beat Johnny Munoz Jr. by Decision
  • Jeff Molina to Beat Zhalgas Zhumagulov by KO/TKO
  • Rinat Fakhretdinov to Beat Andreas Michailidis by KO/TKO
  • Erin Blanchfield to Beat JJ Aldrich by Decision

The scope of your UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Rozenstruik betting picks shouldn’t be limited to the main card fights.

At the very least, I would recommend considering my UFC Vegas 56 predictions for the prelims and seeing if you think you can win some money from them. I’ve pointed it out above, but just because the card is a little meh doesn’t mean it’s not a good one to bet on.

I’ve found in the past that plenty of prelim fight cards have been goldmines. This is because many who choose to use UFC betting apps and sites are only concerned with the main card fights. There are even more who don’t know who a lot of the prelims fighters are.

Keep this in mind before you wager on your UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Rozenstruik picks. Better yet, read these top tips for betting on UFC fights. Doing just that could help you better understand the science behind gambling the right way on the matchups.

Best Picks for UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Rozenstruik

So that’s almost a wrap for my UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Rozenstruik predictions and betting picks.

I’ve run through the UFC Vegas 56 odds, as well as the fight card and forecasts. Now, I’m going to choose the best bets for this weekend’s UFC and briefly explain why.

  • Rozenstruik to Beat Volkov by KO/TKO – The chances are that, if Rozenstruik wins this fight, it’s gonna be by knockout. And at odds of +210, I’ll take him on that bet against Volkov every day.
  • Evloev to Beat Ige by Decision – I much prefer odds of -200 to the moneyline price for Evloev. I cannot justify backing him at -410 when the guy is just all kinds of wrong for Ige. He’s not a knockout artist or a prolific submission monster, so this bet makes the most sense.
  • Herrig to Beat Kowalkiewicz – Herrig returns to the promotion looking to avenge her split-decision loss to Kowalkiewicz in 2018. I think she is hungrier, grittier, and could score a KO/TKO. But I’ll take her on the line here at odds of -125.

You can take these picks for UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Rozenstruik over to the top apps to bet on UFC fights and get your wagers down. Alternatively, you could use them as a reference for what to target. Add them to your shortlist, or, if you have different ideas, go ahead and test your luck with different wagers.

Whatever it is you choose to do, good luck and enjoy the fights!
