Best NFL Parlay for Week 1 in the 2021 NFL Season
Last year I started handing out my favorite NFL parlay picks, which meant I strung together some of my favorite bets and created a parlay I really liked.
It missed more often than not, but I did deliver one big win in 2020, and came close in a few other weeks.
The goal is to increase the winning percentage for 2021, and ideally also hit it big a few times. Going into week one, there are a lot of opportunities to cash in on player props, game odds, and more.
It’s anyone’s guess what will hit, but when considering pricing, logic, and upside, I come to my personal favorite NFL parlay for the week.
With that, here’s my favorite picks to make up my top week one NFL parlay at the top sports betting sites.
Green Bay Packers to Win (-185)
The Packers are my pick to win it all this year, so no, I don’t think they will lose to the regressing Saints in week one.
There are so many reasons to not like the Saints here. Here’s a few.
- Drew Brees retired
- Jameis Winston is their quarterback
- They just cut Latavius Murray
- Michael Thomas isn’t healthy
That is a laundry list of obstacles for a team that is otherwise blessed with elite coaching and a pretty deep and balanced roster.
I am not a big believer in Winston, and he’s going up against a better than advertised Packers defense. He also has to match wits with a dialed in Aaron Rodgers, which may be enough by itself to deter me from betting against Green Bay.
Oh, and this game isn’t even in Louisiana.
Baltimore Ravens to Win (-200)
I also dig the Ravens as they take on the Raiders in week one on Monday Night Football.
Yes, they have lost literally their top three running backs, but they still have their most dynamic rusher (Lamar Jackson), and they’re facing the Raiders.
More than anything, the Ravens can slow down the Las Vegas offense, and the Raiders defense simply can’t do the same to Baltimore.
I wouldn’t touch the point spread in this game, but I love the Ravens to win.
Broncos vs. Giants Under 41.5 (-110)
I think the first two bets in my week one NFL parlay are borderline locks. If you want to swap them out, consider the safest NFL picks in week one.
This should be close to making the cut, though, and there’s plenty of reason to buy the hype.
The biggest one? The most talented offensive team in this matchup isn’t remotely healthy. Both Kenny Golladay and Saquan Barkley are not quite 100%, and neither will tell us if they’re suiting up.
The quarterback play isn’t especially impressive with Daniel Jones and Teddy Bridgewater slinging the rock, while both defenses are capable of pitching a shutout.
I highly doubt the points will be flowing in this one. The total is a bit low for my liking, but I still think the Under is the right call.
Cleveland Browns to Win (+205)
I smell an upset. All of this talk about how invincible the Chiefs are, Patrick Mahomes being perfect in September, and the gall to even mutter “17-0” has the makings of disappointment.
Don’t get me wrong, I know this is a risky play. However, the Browns actually played Kansas City pretty well in the playoffs, and they only got better in the offseason.
Nobody really expects the Browns to win, but if they can run the ball and get to Patrick Mahomes even a little, I believe they can.
I also like to aim high in my last bet for my NFL parlay, and they’re easily the most appealing of the week one NFL underdogs.
If you agree, you may want to do more than use this week one NFL parlay. You may want to avoid the Chiefs in your NFL survivor pools.
My Favorite Week 1 NFL Parlay
As always, if you want to just roll with my picks individually, you can protect yourself and take on a little less risk.
You can even shorten this week one NFL parlay and leave out the Browns, or switch it up as you see fit. I am never against any of that, and I am pretty vocal about adding in at least one risky play when handing out my favorite NFL parlay of the week.
For week one, I just don’t see Green Bay or Baltimore losing. They’re honestly arguably steals at their moneyline outside of a parlay, but they only add to the value of this string of bets.
That Denver game should be an eyesore, so while the total is really low, I think the Under still hits.
Betting on a Cleveland win is a risk, but it really takes this week one NFL parlay over the top. If you go with the first three bets and tack on something like the Vikings (-160), you can turn $100 into over $600 at Bovada.
Bet however you wish for week one, but hopefully my top week one NFL parlay finds you well. For more week one NFL betting insight, check out the posts below.
