Best Horse Racing Bets – Wednesday, September 30, 2020

| September 30, 2020 1:50 am PDT

Even though the tracks today could have used more surprises and definitely more underdogs, I still managed to unearth some decent potential ROI enhancers at all three tracks I covered—Indiana Grand Race Course, Parx Racing, and Thistledown Racino.

Remember that you can always find all the races for the three tracks I cover with a quick visit to the best horse racing betting sites.

Let’s get right to my picks and predictions for Wednesday, September 30, 2020.

Good luck!

Today’s Best Bets for Indiana Grand Race Course

  • Race 6: D D Seven Thirty 8/5 (win)
  • Race 6: R Speed Dial 15/1 (show)
  • Race 7: Hungarian Princess 4/1 (win)
  • Race 8: Betsdownletsride 8/5 (win)

I stuck with the morning line for races 6 and 8 but went with the second-favored entry in race 7 (click the link below to find out why).

I also found a good 15/1 value show bet in race 6, but the other two races were surprisingly devoid of bettable longshots.

Wednesday’s Top Bets for Parx Racing

  • Race 7: Awsum Road 5/1 or Snow Forecast 3/1 (win)
  • Race 8: Sunny Dale 8/5 (win)
  • Race 8: Charly’s Charm 12/1 (show)
  • Race 9: Inter Miami 2/1 (win)

Parx Racing was all about the morning line, which I wound up agreeing with for all three races.

On the other hand, there’s an “if/then” wager in race 7 I need to explain: If the also-eligible Awsum Road enters the race, then bet her to win race 7, otherwise, bet the favorite.

Oh, and I found a modestly profitable 12/1 show ticket worth buying in race 8.

My Best Bets for Wednesday at Thistledown Racino

  • Race 2: Diva Power 5/2 (win)
  • Race 2: Annisquam 10/1 (show)
  • Race 5: Dyna’s Holiday 3/1 (win)
  • Race 7: Sole Factor 5/2 (win)
  • Race 7: Fantasy Fest 10/1 (show)

I was also forced to agree with the morning line for two of the three races I covered at Thistledown. I back the favorites in both race 2 and race 7, although those two matches do provide us with some 10/1 value show bets.

At least I found the second-favored Dyna’s Holiday to be the more likely winner of race 5. So we’ve got that going for us.
