Indiana Grand and Louisiana Downs continue to dominate my track choices this week, but I’m also bringing Parx Racing in for a look-see today—and I’m glad I did. Plenty of long-odds moneymakers as well as some profitable underdogs to pick amongst the morning line’s SWAGs.

And not just at Parx. Louisiana Downs has been missing some of that old wagering excitement lately, but they’re coming back like gangbusters for Wednesday. I found a sweet trifecta there in race 7, as well as a solid underdog in race 6.

But enough with the hints and allegations—read on for my predictions, picks, and tips for Wednesday, September 16, 2020.

Indiana Grand was more generous with the longer-odds bets than with the underdogs I look for. Still, even a 1/1 win is a win, although it’s not easy to get rich on that bet. Try the legitimate longshot I found in race 8. Sure, you won’t be buying a yacht with the proceeds, but remember what they say about the two happiest days of a yacht owner’s life. I mean, who needs that?

I struck gold at Louisiana Downs today, with a couple of solid longer-odds value bets, a 5/1 underdog for the win in race 6, and a trifecta in race 7 that could change a few lives.

The morning line was dead-on with winners in the races I examined, so I followed that advice. But the value show bets I found in race 8 and 9 could make a difference between Sad Billfold and Happy Billfold—and who doesn’t like Happy Billfold? Happy Billfold is so much more fun at parties.
