Best Horse Racing Bets for Tuesday, March 2, 2021

| March 2, 2021 8:49 am PDT

The three tracks I chose for my Tuesday reviews and assessments are Mahoning Valley Race Course, Parx Racing, and Turf Paradise — where I found plenty of underdog action in the three richest races at each of the three.

Now, read on for the summary of my picks and predictions for the likely moneymakers for Tuesday, March 2, 2021.

Good luck!

Tuesday’s Picks for Mahoning Valley Race Course

  • Race 4: Mo Don’t Know 6/5 (win)
  • Race 5: Vale of Evesham 7/2 (win)
  • Race 7: Williston Way 6/5 (win)

Mahoning Valley was by far the stingiest track for underdogs and value show bets for Tuesday, but I did manage to find a single second-favored underdog in race 5 to offset the low returns available to us by betting the favorites in races 4 and 7.

My Tuesday Predictions for Parx Racing

  • Race 5: Midnight Obsession 5/2 (win)
  • Race 7: Customerexperience 9/5 (win)
  • Race 7: Shatter Me 20/1 (show)
  • Race 10: Lady Munnings 7/2 (win)

Parx was much more generous with the underdog prospects: I found second-favored entries in races 5 and 10 for our bankroll enhancement and general good humor.

Not only that, but in race 7, I found a juicy 20/1 longshot with a realistic chance at finishing in the money.

Turf Paradise Picks and Predictions for Tuesday

  • Race 1: Uh Oh Lucy 5/2 (win)
  • Race 1: Trans Mississippi 8/1 (sleeper)
  • Race 3: Quincy Express 9/2 (win)
  • Race 3: Rail Hugger 8/1 (sleeper)
  • Race 8: Blue Azul 4/1 (win)
  • Race 8: Matson 10/1 (show)

And the Tuesday winner of my admiration and gratitude goes to Turf Paradise, which not only delivered some solid underdogs, but also two (not one, but two!) sleepers.

I backed the morning line favorite in race 1 — but also found the first of my sleepers in that race. At 8/1, you can bet that sleeper according to your preference.

Same goes for the sleeper I found in race 3 but be aware that I do believe the third-favored entry in that race (at 9/2 odds) is a bit more likely to take the win.

And don’t forget that 10/1 value show bet in race 8.
