All three of the tracks I chose to review for Tuesday had something good to offer, although Parx Racing wins the brownie button for most underdogs and longshot moneymakers.

But that is not to say Delta Downs and Mahoning Valley Race Course didn’t bring something tasty to the picnic — I found plenty of underdogs as we as a couple of longshots at those tracks, as well.

I found myself agreeing with the morning line more often than not while reviewing the three top races for Tuesday. I did, however, like the third-favored horse in race 7 at 5/1, so that was nice.

And there’s an if-then wagering decision to be made in race 8, where if Grillin wins, you need to bet him to win, while if he doesn’t start, you’ll want to switch your allegiance to Alluring Actor. When it comes to your bankroll, you are permitted to be fickle.

Mahoning Valley Race Course looks a little bare, but that’s just because I found only one long-odds entry—in race 4—worthy of a value show bet.

The big news is that I found third-favored underdogs to back for races 4 and 5 (at 7/2 and 4/1, respectively), which makes my agreement with the morning line in race 3 easier to bear.

Parx was the goldmine of tracks for Tuesday, with underdogs galore and a couple of solid long-odds show bets to keep our bankroll, um, rolling.
