Best Horse Racing Bets for Thursday, February 4, 2021

I went with Aqueduct Racetrack, Fair Grounds Race Course, and Gulfstream Park for my tracks to review for Thursday.
What I found in the three races I selected from each track were lots of underdogs to tout, a few sleepers to flag for inclusion in our wagering strategery, and even a couple of long-odds value show bets, including a 20/1 longshot.
So without further ado, let’s get on to the summary of my predictions for Thursday, February 4, 2021.
Good luck!
Thursday Picks and Predictions for Aqueduct Racetrack
- Race 5: Dreams Untold 8/5 (win)
- Race 7: Jemography 5/2 (win)
- Race 7: Morning Breez 10/1 (show)
- Race 8: Brew Pub 7/2 (win)
- Race 8: Street Culture 6/1 (sleeper)
I found a lot to like at the Big A for Thursday, including two second-favored underdogs (races 7 and 8). Those two races also had a 10/1 value show wager (race 7) and a 6/1 sleeper to watch (race 8).
Naturally, I had to stick with a morning-line favorite, and I did so in race 5, where it seemed foolhardy not to.

My Thursday Predictions for Fair Grounds Race Course
- Race 7: Copa 7/2 (win)
- Race 8: Jungle Cat 9/2 (win, if starts)
- Race 8: Empress Catherine 4/1 (win otherwise, if starts)
- Race 9: Soul Song 3/1 (win)
While I found no value show bets worth the risk at Fair Grounds for Thursday, I did find second-favored underdogs in all three races, plus an if-then turf vs. dirt choice to make in race 8.

Gulfstream Park Picks for Thursday
- Race 4: Favorite Sin 5/2 (win)
- Race 4: Raspberry Ballet 8/1 (sleeper)
- Race 6: Shop Girl 5/2 (win)
- Race 9: Loriloupes 5/2 (win)
- Race 9: Domineer 20/1 (show/across the board)
Gulfstream Park was inarguably the biggest provider of profit opportunities in the three tracks I reviewed. Starting with my discovery of a second-favored prospect in race 4 (along with a shadowy sleeper at 8/1 morning line), and then a 20/1 longshot that turned out to be not only a solid value show ticket but a possible across the board wager, as well.
Of course, I found myself in agreement with the morning line for my win choices in races 6 and 9, but even a blind pig finds a broken clock every now and then, right?
