Best Horse Racing Bets for Thursday, February 25, 2021

I went with Aqueduct Racetrack, Gulfstream Park, and Turf Paradise for my Thursday horse-race picks and predictions and found plenty of pleasant surprises and upsets among the races I reviewed.

While I had to agree with the morning line at Aqueduct for all three races I reviewed there, I found one solid underdog at Gulfstream Park and three at Turf Paradise. And that’s not to mention the value show tickets I found at all three tracks.

Toss in a sleeper or two, and Thursday starts to look like a very good day, bankroll-wise.

I found myself agreeing with the morning line about winners in all three of the races I reviewed, but I did find an 8/1 sleeper in race 3 worth a second look.

And then, of course, there’s that 12/1 value show wager I found in race 7 that could embiggen our wallets a skosh.

I also agreed with the morning line on races 5 and 8 at Gulfstream Park, but I stumbled upon a fifth-favored (8/1) underdog in race 9 that could make our bankrolls fat and sassy.

Not only that, but I found a 30/1 longshot worth a value show bet in race 5, plus a shorter but still worthy 12/1 show wager in race 9.

If there were a polar opposite to my Thursday picks at Aqueduct, it just might be what I discovered at Turf Paradise: Underdogs all the way.

For instance, I found fifth-favored win prospects in races 2 and 3 and then a second-favored entry in race 9 worth a win ticket.

And while I saw plenty of longshots in race 9, it was the 12/1 entry that caught my eye. Jacks Outlaw has a record good enough to suggest a win, so you may want to try an across-the-board wager there.
