The reigning Bundesliga champs search for their 11^th straight victory in all competitions. Also, the Bavarians have won their previous 19 encounters with Werder Bremen, while the Green-Whites have been waiting for a victory over Bayern since 2008.

As I’ve expected, the Bavarians are ridiculous -909 favorites here. The visitors are listed at +550 odds to stay unbeaten, but the bookies expect them to find the net, setting -137 odds on both teams to score YES.

Werder has scored just twice in its last seven visits to Allianz Arena in Munich. Last season, the Green-Whites suffered a heavy 6-1 defeat at Bayern.

As I’ve mentioned, the Bavarians are riding a 10-game win streak in all competitions. Since a surprising 4-1 loss at Hoffenheim, the reigning champs have won five consecutive Bundesliga contests while tallying an 18:7 goal difference in that stretch.

The Bavarians beat Borussia Dortmund 3-2 on the road last time out, marking their fourth straight game with at least one goal conceded. Anyway, the Bavarians have been unstoppable offensively, so they just look to score as many as they can.

Striker Robert Lewandowski netted 13 goals in 11 appearances in all competitions. Forward Thomas Muller added six goals in 13 apps, and he’s the Bavarians’ best assist-maker with eight dishes.

Bayern is topping the Bundesliga standings at the moment with 18 points (six wins and a loss) and a 27:11 goal difference. The Bavarians are two points ahead of the second-placed RB Leipzig and eight points ahead of the ninth-placed Werder Bremen.

The Green-Whites have 10 points on their tally (two wins, one loss, and four draws) along with a 9:9 goal difference. They recorded four straight 1-1 draws against FC Koln, Eintracht Frankfurt, Hoffenheim, and Freiburg.

Werder is still unbeaten in three outings on the road, posting a couple of draws and a 3-1 victory over the hapless Schalke. Niclas Fullkrug leads the way for the Green-Whites with four goals in six outings, but the 27-year-old striker is doubtful to play Saturday due to a calf injury.

Bayern will miss left-back Alphonso Davis and versatile midfielder Joshua Kimmich.

The hosts shouldn’t have any problems to beat Werder and earn all three points, but the main question is – will they cover a 2.5-goal spread and get us some decent wages?
