Barcelona will be aiming to extend their lead at the top of Group G when Dynamo Kiev visits Catalonia on Wednesday, November 4.
The Spanish side has made a strong start to their Champions League campaign. Not only do Ronald Koeman’s men have a five-point lead over third-place Dynamo, they also boast a three-point advantage over second-place Juventus.

Barcelona vs. Dynamo Kiev Odds
As you can see, 10bet views Barcelona (1.15) as the clear favorite to win on Wednesday. The Spaniards’ vast European experience gives them the edge in this matchup, with Dynamo (20.00) the rank outsider.
Having said that, Barca has been far from convincing this season. It would be a massive longshot, but the big odds for the draw (11.00) do look tempting.
Let’s take a closer look at the teams.
Barcelona vs. Dynamo Kiev Preview
Despite the ongoing off-field issues at the club, Barcelona has hardly put a foot wrong in the Champions League this season.
The Catalan giant kicked things off with a thumping 5-1 victory over Ferencvaros, with Lionel Messi playing a starring role. The Argentine magician got on the scoresheet again on Matchday 2 as Barca secured an impressive away victory against Juventus.
Still, things have not been going to plan back on home soil. With six domestic games played this term, Koeman’s men find themselves 12th in La Liga, and their record of W2-D2-L2 underlines the team’s inconsistency.
Barcelona is currently enduring a four-game winless run in La Liga. Despite enjoying 80% possession and recording 25 shots (nine on target) on Saturday, Barca was eventually held to a 1-1 draw by Alaves.
Ultimately, it is difficult to gauge how Barcelona will fare on Wednesday.
First ever win on the road at Juventus!— FC Barcelona (@FCBarcelona) October 28, 2020
Dynamo Kiev’s Champions League campaign began with a 2-0 defeat to Juventus, although the Ukrainian side created plenty of goalscoring opportunities against the Italians.
While Mircea Lucescu’s men can count themselves unlucky to have come away from Matchday 1 without anything to show for their efforts, it’s safe to say they will be kicking themselves after what happened on Matchday 2.
Goals from Viktor Tsyhankov and Carlos de Pena gave Dynamo a comfortable 2-0 advantage over Ferencvaros, but the Ukrainians threw away their lead, conceding an equalizer on 90 minutes.
Lucescu will be hoping that his side can carry their domestic form onto the European stage. Dynamo sits four points clear at the top of the Ukrainian Premier League, having won six and drawn two of their opening eight league games this term.
Barcelona vs. Dynamo Kiev Betting Pick
Barcelona to Win1.15
I was desperate to make a case for Dynamo getting something from this game, but I just can’t see it happening. The Ukrainian side is flying along back home, but the team has struggled in the Champions League so far.
By contrast, Barcelona has performed far better on their European travels this season. I’m backing Messi and co. to flex their muscles and claim a third straight UCL win on Wednesday.
