It was all smiles in the nation’s capital after a Week 1 comeback against the Eagles. A couple of blowout losses later and the Washington Football Team appears to be in shambles.

As the great Dennis Green famously once said, “They are who we thought they were.”

On that note, are the Ravens as good as we initially thought? They got obliterated by Kansas City on MNF and now face a short week to get back on track.

It’s rare that you’ll see a team lose by a couple of touchdowns and be installed as a 13-point favorite the following week. Then again, let’s not forget how sharp Baltimore looked in their first two outings trouncing the Browns and the Texans.

Chase Young missed week 3 with a groin injury and is unlikely to suit up against Baltimore. Defensive tackle Matt Ioannidis will most definitely be out as he recovers from a torn biceps. If that’s not enough, Washington’s best offensive lineman, Brandon Scherff, is on track to miss Sunday’s contest as well.

The Football Team was already going to be fighting an uphill battle based on the matchup alone. Being that they’re banged up in the trenches and the Ravens will be seething, this thing could get out of control quickly.

John Harbaugh will make it a point to run the ball at will. Ron Rivera’s group has succumbed 158 or more rushing yards in back-to-back games, and they’ll have no answer for Lamar Jackson running the RPO.

Anyone hoping Dwayne Haskins can be counted on to save the day, just remember he threw three picks last time out and is yet to hit 225 passing yards in a game.
