The Spanish La Liga goes on with Matchday 9, so I’ve prepared the best Atletico Madrid vs. Cadiz betting pick for Saturday, November 7, along with the key betting tips, team news, and the latest odds update.

These two teams haven’t met each other since 2016, while their previous La Liga clash is dating back to 2006. Cadiz returned to the Spanish top tier this summer, and the Yellow Submarine is the most pleasant surprise of the 2020-21 La Liga season.

Atletico Madrid vs. Cadiz Odds

Atletico -1.5 +145
Cadiz +1.5 -170
Atletico to Win -227
Cadiz to Win +900
Draw +320
Over 2.0 -111
Under 2.0 +100

Despite Cadiz’s excellent form, Atletico is a firm fave to win Saturday, according to Bovada sports.

The Yellow Submarine is undefeated in five straight outings, allowing just one goal in the process. However, the hosts are legitimate La Liga title contenders. Atletico won three straight La Liga games and is undefeated in four straight showings in all competitions.

Both Cadiz and Atletico lean on a stout defense and prefer a cautious approach, so the bookies expect to see a low-scoring affair. The odds on BTTS YES are +180, and you won’t see that often.

Atletico Madrid vs. Cadiz Preview

Atletico Madrid is on a tight schedule, playing in the Group A of the UEFA Champions League. The Indians are coming off a 1-1 draw at Lokomotiv Moscow this past Tuesday, snapping a three-game win streak in all competitions.

They’ve won three straight contests in the La Liga, and the Indians are currently sitting at the fourth spot with 14 points and a 13:2 goal difference. After keeping the net intact in four consecutive outings, the Indians conceded in a 3-1 victory at Osasuna last weekend.

Cadiz is right behind Atletico in the La Liga standings. As well as the Indians, the Yellow Submarine have earned 14 points thus far, but they have an 8:6 goal difference.

The Yellow Submarine have won three of their previous five La Liga contests along with a couple of draws. Interestingly, Cadiz has been victorious in all four road games this season while keeping its net intact which is a completely ridiculous record.

Three weeks ago, the Yellow Submarine stunned Real Madrid 1-0 at Santiago Bernabeu. Cadiz is coming off a 2-0 victory at Eibar this past Friday, scoring a couple of first-half goals and keeping the ball in possession for only 26 percent of the time.

Atletico Madrid vs. Cadiz Pick

On paper, Atletico is a much better team than Cadiz, but the Yellow Submarine’s defensive approach makes them a very tough rival to beat.

I cannot remember when was the last time the newcomers won all four road games without conceding a single goal. Therefore, I have to take the hosts to win and score more than once along the way. Cadiz is a well-organized team, but another upset would be too much.

The Indians played very well against Osasuna last weekend, creating plenty of dangerous scoring opportunities. After dropping two points in Moscow in the Champions League, I hope they’ll be fired up to make amends and finally put an end to Cadiz’s ridiculous streak.

Atletico won 13 of its last 17 home games in all competitions, scoring two or more goals in nine of those 13 victories.
