Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur – EPL, March 14, 2021

The north London derby takes center stage on Sunday, as Arsenal welcomes Spurs to the Emirates looking for little more than local bragging rights as the season enters its final stretch.
Tottenham will still have aspirations of European qualification – if not even a top four finish – and would enjoy beating its bitter rival to achieve that aim.
Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur Odds
The EPL hasn’t been the same without the fans, but it is games like this when the crowds are really missed. Even when there is nothing on the line apart from local pride, Arsenal against Spurs is a game to look forward to and enjoy.
BetOnline prices it very closely, as a derby should be, but the away win bet might be the best value here.
Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur Match Preview
Arsenal was looking very poor before Christmas before Mikel Arteta started to get his team playing the way he wanted. There is still a long way to go – as results and the current league position prove – but there has been a definite improvement. Arsenal fans would probably take all that if the Gunners were to win on Sunday and derail Tottenham’s European hopes in the process.
The good news for Arsenal is that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang looks like he is returning to the kind of form that he was showing last season – and that prompted the club to extend his contract at all costs. He is still the club’s leading goal scorer this season – which is saying a lot considering his poor form for chunks of the campaign – and might trouble Spurs this weekend.
But Jose Mourinho will not be quite as worried about that after watching how his attacking players have clicked in the last few games. After seemingly being snubbed for the majority of the season, Gareth Bale has teamed up very well with Harry Kane recently and started to score goals for himself too.
The Welsh international scored another two in the 4-1 win against Palace last weekend and has begun to show the form that has won him Champions League titles and other honors at Real Madrid. There is also Lucas Moura and Heung-min Son for Arsenal to fear as well, so Sunday’s game could have a lot of goalmouth action.
Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur Betting Pick
-
Tottenham Hotspur to Win+185
Tottenham hasn’t looked the finished article at times this season but has performed much better than Arsenal over the course of the campaign – and the odds for this game are definitely affected by the local derby angle. That makes Spurs to win a good bet – and I think that could well be the outcome on Sunday.
