Best Player Prop Bets for 49ers vs. Packers Divisional Round Matchup

We have great matchups across the board for this week’s NFL Divisional Round. For starters, the 49ers and Packers game is shaping up to be a great one. The 49ers had a thrilling victory over the Cowboys last week and advanced to the second round.
Green Bay was able to secure the first seed in the NFC this year, which earned them a first round bye and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Let’s get right into the 4 best player props for the 49ers vs. Packers game this Saturday.
Elijah Mitchell Over 75.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Eli Mitchell has been a steal for the 49ers this season. They lost their top back in Raheem Mostert early this season and Mitchell has become their go-to guy in the backfield.
Whoever is running that slime cannon better not take a bathroom break!

Mitchell has gotten a ton of work throughout this season and should be in for another heavy load in this game. He missed the first matchup against the Packers earlier this season and they missed him dearly.
Mitchell has gotten 21+ carries (which is a great prop bet as well) in his last 6 games. The 49ers absolutely love to run the ball and their whole offense is based around it. Even if they fall behind on the scoreboard to the Packers, they should remain committed to the run.
The Packers allow 4.7 yards per carry, which is 3rd worst in the NFL. The 49ers are committed to the run so they are sure to at least try and exploit that. If we take those season averages and estimate Mitchell’s stats, I would expect 18-24 rushes for around 75-100 rushing yards.
With how bad the Packers have been at stopping the run, Mitchell could have an even bigger game. If you are a Mitchell believer like me this week, you can also bet on him to score a touchdown (+120) or Over 19.5 carries (-108) as well.
Davante Adams Over 7.5 Receptions (-145)
This is the biggest game of the year so far for the Packers. In big games, Aaron Rodgers loves to throw to Davante Adams. Adams can have a monster day this week, but I think the safest bet is for him to catch 8 passes.
Rodgers went to Adams a bunch in their Week 3 game against San Francisco earlier this season. Adams finished the game with an incredible 18 targets with 12 catches for 132 yards and a touchdown.
He could have another monster day and is a target for the over on basically all of his player props.
Adams’ odds for a touchdown (-143) and over 94 receiving yards (-114) are certainly something to take a look at as well. I would also take a peek at his 2+ touchdowns prop which goes for (+350).
He is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL and the Packers know it. He is always in the offensive scheme and they maximize his ability. He is a major reason why their offense and team overall is so successful.
In the Packers’ first playoff game of the season, I expect them to go to their number one guy enough for him to at least get 8 catches.
Aaron Rodgers Over 2.5 Passing Touchdowns (+154)
Another Green Bay aerial prop I like this week is the over on Aaron Rodgers’ passing touchdowns. 3 is a big number for touchdown passes for any quarterback, but I am expecting a big game out of Rodgers in this one.
Ever since the 49ers didn’t draft him, Rodgers has held a grudge against his favorite team growing up. Rodgers can certainly make them feel bad about not drafting him one more time before his possible retirement after this season.
The odds for Rodgers to throw at least 2 touchdowns are not favorable at all (-500), meaning the best NFL betting sites are basically expecting that to happen. With the floor being 2 touchdowns, why not throw in one more?
I said in my pick for this game that I expect this one to be high scoring. Rodgers can certainly have a huge day and could throw 3 or more touchdowns.
In 2020, Rodgers actually threw for 4 touchdowns to go with 305 yards in a win over San Francisco.
I would not be surprised to see Rodgers throw for another 3 or more touchdowns against a team he would like to prove wrong yet again.
Allen Lazard Over 3.5 Receptions (+114)
Rodgers and Adams aren’t the only ones clicking. Allen Lazard has become one of Rodgers’ favorite targets over the past couple games. Lazard is a do it all receiver, but he is being more involved in the passing game recently.
Lazard has averaged 5.7 targets, 3.8 receptions, 50.5 receiving yards, and has 5 touchdowns in his last 6 games. He also has 11 catches in his past two games. It would have been more if Green Bay wasn’t resting in the final week of the season.
Most important Packers’ players like Lazard only played about the first half in their Week 18 game against Detroit. Lazard played just 31% of offensive snaps and finished with 5 catches on 6 targets for 75 yards and two touchdowns.

It is a scary thought that another Green Bay receiver is starting to get hot in the playoffs when they already have Davante Adams. San Francisco has a decent but not great passing attack, so Lazard should be able to do some damage.
I like the 4+ catches prop because it has plus money to it. You can also hit the over in his yardage (40.5 -109), or to score a touchdown (+175).
San Francisco is surely going to focus their defensive game plan on stopping Adams and even their rushing attack. Lazard should get more one on one opportunities and could capitalize in a major way.
