Betway Teams up With Pragmatic Play for a New Live Casino Experience

  • Betway’s world-renowned casino site will feature a bespoke live blackjack suite powered by Pragmatic Play.
  • The leading i-Gaming developer is hoping to reinforce its growing partnership with the betting giant owned by Super Group.
  • The partnership has been announced just two weeks after Betway appointed Mohid Chaddah as its chief technology officer (CTO).

It has been announced that Pragmatic Play has linked up with Super Group’s crown jewel brand, Betway, to provide a new live studio for casino enthusiasts.

The content provider, a leader in its field, has to pen to paper on a deal to provide a custom blackjack studio. Games will feature Betway branding and will be available to players in eligible jurisdictions. As one of the most popular games in the world, those looking to play blackjack online for money now have another appealing option.

This move sees Betway and Pragmatic Play reinforcing an already robust relationship. The top betting site already hosts many of the developer’s popular slots as well as other live casino games. It is expected that the brand new blackjack suite will enhance both companies’ brands.

Betway is the Latest Casino to Embrace Pragmatic Play

Pragmatic Play is looking to satisfy shareholders with yet another smart bit of business.

The company, which is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the UK Gambling Commission, is an innovative, global content provider in major countries across the globe.

Known best for its numerous slots catalog and live gaming solutions, Pragmatic also supplies top casinos in the US and around the world with industry-leading games and a fully-immersive virtual sports offering.

Its deal with Betway is the latest in an expansive effort to work alongside some of the biggest names in the online betting industry. This news confirms that Super Sports’ most successful brand will join Unibet (Kindred) as well as M88 and Stake (Mansion) as partners of Pragmatic Play.

Anthony Werkman, CEO of Betway, confirmed that the prospect of both companies working in tandem is something that he is particularly excited about.

Creating incredible gaming experiences for our players is a priority for us, so launching a new dedicated live and immersive blackjack studio with Pragmatic Play is something we’re all excited about. The supplier has an incredible track record of delivering unmatched bespoke studios and we’re very pleased to launch our blackjack products with them.

Will players be as excited by this partnership? At the very least, is it going to be something that will standout among what both companies’ rivals are producing and providing to blackjack enthusiasts?

Will Pragmatic Play Improve Betway’s Existing Live Blackjack Suite?

There are two ways to approach answering this question. While new can be good when there are cracks to fill if something is not broken, why fix it?

Betway ranks highly as one of the best live dealer casinos for bonuses and rewards. Beyond that, it’s a very good site with modern technology and a pretty good library of games. But Pragmatic Play should certainly give it another boost.

If the aim of the game is to become the best live casino, it needs to push ahead and embrace the necessity to evolve. It can be a risky business to switch things up when you already have steady foundations, but I can’t see this one being anything but a success.

Of course, I’ll need to wait to see just how right I am about that!
