Playtech Joins Forces with Resorts Digital Gaming for Live Gaming Offerings

- Gaming software developer Playtech plc has announced a partnership with Resorts Digital Gaming (RSG).
- RSG is the digital representative of Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.
- Playtech is expected to offer its gaming services on the websites of the Resorts and Mohegan Sun Casino.
Gamming software giant Playtech has linked arms with Resorts Digital Gaming in yet another expansion of its operations.
The news comes not long after Hing Kong-based Gopher Investments pulled out of a $250m acquisition deal. Since then, Playtech Live has launched in New Jersey and Michigan, with designs on expanding its multi-million dollar global reach.
Playtech is set to bring brand new iCasino, live casino, and live entertainment content to the online websites belonging to Resorts Casino and Mohegan Sun Casino. Full details of their materials will be revealed when the Resorts’ brand new live streaming channel goes live.
What Can Players Expect from the Partnership?
Some of the best real money slots online will hit the sites as part of the agreement.
In addition to a community game show “Live Slots,” slots fans can expect other casino classics such as “Buffalo Blitz” and “Adventures Beyond Wonderland.” Playtech is renowned for its vast library of slots, so this should come as little surprise.
Shimon Akad, who serves as Playtech COO, was excited to share the good news.
“We are very proud to be working with one of New Jersey’s most iconic gaming brands. This partnership is an exciting step towards providing more players across the USA with a seamless, safe and enjoyable gaming experience, whilst ensuring Playtech is at the forefront of innovative new technologies.
Founded in 1999, Playtech quickly rose to become one of the most innovative and respected developers in the world of gambling.
In February, a $2.8b takeover by Australia’s Aristocrat Gaming was rejected, which was music to the ears of admirers hoping to see the company stay loyal to its brand. As it turns out, the company appears to be doing pretty well without the input of other corporations.
As this deal stands to prove, the brand name is worth more than a pretty penny.
Will Resorts Digital Benefit from this Deal?
It stands to reason that having one of the most prominent gambling software developers on your side is a good thing.
Bettors and gaming enthusiasts will naturally gravitate to games created by software giants like Playtech. This is a huge selling point for companies who want to increase interest in their products. And as long as the creative minds behind Playtech continue to produce market-leading content, you can expect more gambling resorts, institutions, and other companies to want to be associated with them.
Ed Andrewes, Resorts Digital Gaming CEO, paid homage to Playtech’s ‘innovative’ qualities while addressing the company’s excitement to have them on board.
Andrewes also went on to express his eagerness to see his company’s new live streaming channel grow. With help from the Playtech brand, of course.
That pretty much sums everything up for now.
Whether you’re a diehard fan of Playtech games, or curious to sample them for the first time, you can find some of their top offerings on the best USA online casinos.
