Entertainment Betting Sites Don’t See The Rock in Fast & Furious 10

Every fan of the Fast & Furious franchise is sitting on the edge of their seat.

There’s the anticipation of the next installment with Fast & Furious 10 set to arrive in 2023, and moviegoers are already wondering about the cast.

One of the biggest lingering questions is the status of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who is known for his role as Luke Hobbs.

The top entertainment betting sites might have a clue. Despite public pleas from Fast & Furious stars to get Dwayne Johnson back, a return may not be so likely when you look at the odds.

Entertainment Betting Sites Don’t See It Happening

BetUs is offering this bet and the odds above indicate the man known as “The Rock” won’t be reprising his role as Luke Hobbs.

Johnson wasn’t featured in the most recent Fast & Furious saga (F9), as he took a break after joining co-star Jason Statham to team up with Idris Elba in a spin-off.

That may have spawned a new franchise for Fast & Furious fans, but it was originally met with resistance by Tyrese Gibson.

Gibson won’t be why “The Rock” doesn’t return to Fast & Furious 10 (if he stays away), though.

Rather, the two have mended that fence.

“Me and ‘The Rock’ peaced up, by the way. We talked for like four hours about three weeks ago. It was great.” Tyrese Gibson

However, Johnson had previously closed the door on his stay with the Fast & Furious franchise.

His busy schedule naturally plays into that, as the star is always in high demand, while he also has committed to Hobbs & Shaw 2.

Fast & Furious Veterans Haven’t Given Up

Dwayne Johnson seems to have cut ties with Fast & Furious mothership, but some stars from the franchise haven’t given up hope just yet.

One of the original franchise stars, Vin Diesel, recently called for “The Rock” to pick up the mantle.

He did so publicly on social media.

Calling the much larger Dwayne Johnson “little brother” is a questionable way to go about the recruitment, but it’s clear Diesel and other Fast & Furious alums want the superstar back in the saddle.

It remains to be seen how Diesel’s words impact future decisions by “The Rock,” but the current odds suggest it’s unlikely Johnson partakes in Fast & Furious 10.

Fans looking for some encouraging words can look to the scheduled release of 2023 being a ways away still. However, “The Rock” is in high demand, with major projects such as Black Adam, Doc Savage, Big Trouble in Little China, and San Andreas 2 ahead of him.

Throw in the rumored Hobbs & Shaw sequel, and “The Rock” may find it difficult to carve out time for a Fast & Furious return.
