Odds for Twitter’s Edit Button and Trump’s Return After Elon Musk Purchase

The world’s richest man in terms of net worth is none other than Elon Musk at an eye popping $273 billion and growing. Musk is the founder, CEO, and more of SpaceX as well as playing a major role for Tesla.
He’s involved with lots more and his incredible wealth was put on full display recently. He purchased the social media network Twitter for an estimated $44 billion. Twitter plays a large role in our world today, with world leaders, celebrities, and more taking part.
Musk has been vocal about his support for free speech and his acquisition of Twitter is a reflection of that. It has also prompted some interesting betting props.
Will Twitter Get an Edit Button in 2022?
One of the most anticipated features in Twitter has been the edit button. Currently, you are unable to edit a tweet after it has been published. Users have been vocal about the need for an edit button for many uses.
It can be used for grammatical errors, correcting facts, and more.
Do you want an edit button?
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) April 5, 2022
This Twitter poll currently has over 4.4 million votes, which reflects Twitter users’ desire for the new feature. Musk also misspelling “yes” and “no” is also a play on the need for the edit button. The actual Twitter account also tweeted “we are working on an edit button,” which means it’s even more likely for it to be installed by the end of the year.
Betting on the Twitter edit button was made available on BetUS. The odds reflect a very strong chance that it happens. If you are a doubter though, there’s some serious value in the “no” option at (+800).
At the end of the day, the edit button is highly desired by Twitter users. Musk purchasing Twitter should only increase its chances of being installed.
Donald Trump and New York Times Props in 2022
That isn’t the only Twitter-related betting prop available. You can actually bet on Donald Trump to publish a tweet by 2022, or if New York Times will leave Twitter by then. Both of these accounts have had their run-ins over the years.
Trump was handed a permanent suspension from the app last year. He was first locked out of his account for 12 hours after calling January 6th capitol rioters “patriots,” and was issued a warning.
He violated the warning once more and was handed the permanent ban. Musk was very vocal about his opposition to the ban. He said it was “insane” and was strongly against it. Now that Musk has made the big financial move to purchase Twitter, it seems that he will play a role in reinstating Trump’s Twitter account.
On the contrary, New York Times could leave Twitter. If they do, (+800) odds would cash, while the odds for them to stay are at (-3000). Musk’s all about free speech, so it seems unlikely that more accounts will be banned or leave Twitter at this point.
The betting props are made to where only one option is worth betting on. Although, they also indicate what is likely to happen on the platform in 2022. Be on the lookout for an edit button and possibly Donald Trump’s return to Twitter in the coming months.
