Where and How to Bet on UFC 247 – Best Bets, Top Sites, and Expert Picks

| February 3, 2020 9:12 am PDT
Jon Jones and Dominick Reyes UFC 247

Fight fans, welcome to fight week. Today, we’re going to be looking at where to bet on UFC 247.

With Jon Jones and Dominick Reyes’ UFC light heavyweight title clash set to headline the show at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, this Saturday, you don’t want to miss out on the action.

But you only want to be wagering on a UFC betting site with the odds and markets to make it worth your while.

Jones is a big-time favorite over Reyes in the headliner, much the same as Valentina Shevchenko is over Katyln Chookagian in the co-headliner. But could fans be sleeping on either of these contenders?

There are some very solid UFC 247 bets available, which I will cover later, alongside some of my UFC 247 predictions.

But first of all, let’s take a look at some recommendations for where to bet on UFC 247.

Where to Bet on UFC 247

From the best UFC 247 odds to the top markets that keep things interesting, choosing the right site will make such a difference when it comes to betting on the fights.

And always remember, if the first rule of fighting is to protect yourself at all times, you should treat wagering with online betting sites exactly the same. And that’s why we rank the safest sites with the best odds and markets above the rest.

Of course, if you’re looking for where to bet on UFC 247, you’re going to want the best sites you can get your hands on. Some people think that they can only play at one site at a time, but this is not the case. You can join multiple sites and benefit from things like shopping around for the best odds and much more.

Betting on UFC 247 online is a lot easier than you think. If you are a beginner to online betting, you can rest assured that signing up for a new account takes a matter of minutes. And it is so convenient.

You can find out more by heading over to our leading UFC betting sites page, where you will find all the help you need as well as more of our top UFC 247 betting sites recommendations.

UFC 247 Odds

  • Jones vs. Reyes; Jones -450, Reyes +325
  • Shevchenko vs. Chookagian; Shevchenko -1400, Chookagian +750
  • Adams vs. Tafa; Adams -230, Tafa +180
  • Bektic vs. Ige; Bektic -145, Ige +115
  • Lewis vs. Latifi; Lewis -260, Latifi +200
  • Giles vs. Arroyo; Giles -140, Arroyo +110
  • Morono vs. Williams; Morono -260, Williams +200
  • Murphy vs. Lee; Murphy +265, Lee -260
  • Johns vs. Bautista; Johns -130, Bautista EVENS
  • Newson vs. Pilarte; Newson +105, Pilarte -135
  • Ewell vs. Martinez; Ewell -125, Martinez -105

The odds above are taken from the Bovada sportsbook. They are subject to change.

Still, you wouldn’t expect much to change on the main and co-main events. Jon Jones and Valentina Shevchenko are miles ahead of the rest in their divisions and are easily two of the best mixed martial artists alive today.

That said, no one is impervious to losing.

If you are betting on Jones to beat Reyes, odds of -450 are not the worst you will come across. The odds for wagering on Shevchenko to beat Chookagian, however, are much shorter.

I’ll be looking at a couple of value bets a bit later, but first of all, let’s break down my predictions for UFC 247.

UFC 247 Predictions

As you can see, I have my mind made up on who will be adding wins to their resumes on February 8.

This card will be a lot more competitive than some probably think, but there is certainly going to be a nice mix of stoppages and decisions. Well, at least in my opinion, there will be.

As you can tell from the links above, I have covered Jones vs. Reyes and Valentina vs. Shevchenko in greater detail. But if you need a little more info on the remaining fights, you will be pleased to know that I have taken the time to break them down a little, too.

Best Bets for UFC 247

  • Jon Jones to Beat Dominick Reyes (-450)
  • Derrick Lewis to Beat Ilir Latifi (-260)
  • Miles Johns to Beat Mario Bautista (-130)
  • Jonathan Martinez to Beat Andre Ewell (-105)

Could Jon Jones finally taste the bitter tang of defeat? Will Dominick Reyes be the man to do what no one else has to this date?

In my opinion, the answer is no. Jones will win this fight, as Reyes — as impressive as he has been — does not have the skillset to beat Jones.

Next up, Derrick Lewis should have far too much power for Ilir Latifi. You can get odds of -260 on “The Black Beast” getting the job done inside the distance.

You can find out more about these two bets — and a breakdown of why I have chosen Miles Johns and Jonathan Martinez to win their fights — by checking out my UFC 247 Best Bets and Predictions piece.

UFC 247 Sleepers/Value Picks

  • Lauren Murphy to Beat Andrea Lee (+265)
  • Dan Ige to Beat Mirsad Bektic (+110)
  • Justin Tafa to Beat Juan Adams (+185)

Lauren Murphy will be fighting like a dog against Andrea Lee at UFC 247.

It is the grit and toughness of Murphy that could see her negate Lee’s excellent striking and force her into, well, a dogfight. Her odds of +265 are great value, and I believe this could be the bet of the evening.

You can find out more about the other two bets above — in addition to a UFC 247 four-fold parlay — by reading up on a piece I recently wrote surrounding the best UFC 247 value bets.

Closing Thoughts

So, you should be thinking about where to bet on UFC 247 with fewer headaches now.

With the big night of fights just days away, you still have time to make your choices. The most important thing is choosing the right bets, odds, and markets, which you will usually find is made so much easier by choosing the right sites.

I’ll be back to you guys with a UFC 247 recap after the fights.

So, until then…
