Vitality vs. ENCE Odds, Prediction, and Pick for May 6th – ESL One: Road to Rio
A crunch tie at the ESL One European qualifiers in on the horizon today with Team Vitality taking on Finnish side ENCE.
These organizations have tussled several times in the past year and their contrasting approaches should make for an exciting matchup once again.
ZywOo has been in top form for the Frenchmen but captain SuNny’s team is rolling right now and should put up a good fight.
My Vitality vs. ENCE betting preview for today gives you a sense of what the top CS:GO betting sites have rolled out and I base my prediction on the current odds, the teams’ recent form, and some key stats from past meetings.

Let’s move on to my analysis and try to figure out the best approach here.
Team Vitality Analysis
It has all been about ZywOo since Vitality entered the ESL One: Road to Rio event. The 19-year-old has been in relentless form and was able to gun down teams like Fnatic, Dignitas, and Complexity almost single-handedly.
He is probably the best player on the scene right now and this is always a huge bonus. However, we must also note that his teammates’ sub-par performances are a bit worrying.
ZywOo has been able to somewhat mask that but heavy defeats against Astralis and Ninjas in Pyjamas have shown how the over-reliance on him can expose this team.
You are always in with a chance when you have a player in such form but if the others don’t step up at some point, I doubt that Vitality will advance much further in the tournament.
Team ENCE Analysis
Given the French team’s much higher ranking, ENCE is unsurprisingly the big underdog here but the Finns have been in steady form as of late.
They are absolutely killing it at the Elisa Invitational with good wins against Apeks, Dignitas, and GODSENT.
The team has shown bite in the ESL One event as well, starting with a thumping 2:0 win against top dogs Fnatic and also handing Dignitas another defeat.
SuNny and his guys seem to have been lifted by adding Jamppi to the roster and overall, there’s a very positive vibe around the team at present.
Today will be a tough test but ZywOo aside, the Finns have every reason to believe they can match their opponent’s quality.
Vitality vs. ENCE Betting Prediction and Pick
I think it’s time for another bomb dropping at the ESL One: Road to Rio and I’m backing ENCE to beat Vitality.
The head-to-head record is close and the Finns are doing great on maps like Train, Dust II, and Inferno. ZywOo can, of course, beat them on all three of these but ENCE is a highly-tactical team, and defeating them goes through a collective effort.
Vitality has been found lacking on that front while their opponents have built up a good momentum and their chemistry has been key for that.
An upset is highly probable here and the odds for ENCE are simply too good to turn down. So, that would be my final pick here:
