Week 7 has already seen many exciting clashes but we’re in for a big one today as Top Esports take on eStar. Both teams are looking good value to enter the playoffs and this game might be a lot closer than the current standings suggest.

eStar is given a slight advantage but overall, things are looking very close on all fronts. Let’s check how these guys have been faring lately and try to predict the direction in which the tie will go.

The team is firmly in the playoff picture by racking up some good wins until now but I feel they can’t really kick into their highest gear yet.

With the way they performed at the LPL Online Scrims League, I was expecting more dominant displays from them here.

As I said, there have been some solid wins against JD Gaming, Victory Five, and Oh My God, but the recent loss to Team WE showcases exactly what I mean.

Such below-par performances have left Top Esports with a 9-5 record and they can really mess up their chances of catching a good playoff seed if they carry on losing winnable matches.

Today will be a real test for the team as a win here will send a big statement and set them on their way.

eStar has started the tournament brilliantly and is currently holding second place with a 11-2 record. I was definitely not expecting to see them there in Week 7 but the team has shown they can mix it up with favorites like Invictus Gaming and FunPlus Phoenix.

They recently racked up two consecutive defeats against Vici and JD but bounced back immediately with a great 2:0 win against Oh My God in their latest game.

It might look like eStar are punching above their weight but I think they are getting used to the higher spots and will be pumped up to send another message to their competitors with a win today.

On paper, Top Esports is the more experienced organization and I expect they will come good in this tournament. eStar has shown the better overall form but recent losses indicate that they might not be able to kick it up for the long haul.

It is really hard to separate those teams on current form and I’m reluctant to pick out a clear winner here but I’m certain this will be a tight matchup.

We’ve seen better odds for the Over 2.5 market but given the circumstances, Betway’s price is great so that would be my final pick:
