Vladimir Shirokov may not be in the best run of his career right now but he has dominated recent meetings with his namesake Petrov in the Liga Pro. I’m backing him to snatch another victory here.

Andrey Panyushkin and Sergey Tkachev will be facing off in the Setka Cup for the first time. Panyushkin is the higher-ranked pro and is coming into the tie on the back of three consecutive wins against tough opponents like Masko and Kovalchuk, so he should be able to prevail in his last game today as well.

Anatoly Gorelkin is in fine form in the ProSpin Series and he has recently claimed the scalp of Roman Korolev, who is among the top favorites in the tournament. It won’t be easy against an ambitious opponent like Ivanov but the favorite should be able to see him off.
