Table Tennis Betting Tips, Predictions, and Picks for Today – Saturday, May 9, 2020
Betting on table tennis online is a perfect opportunity to win some cash over the weekend. There are at least half a dozen active tournaments and the top rated table tennis betting sites have all of them covered.
Before I move on to today’s prediction, I lay out the schedules of three events that I feel present the best options. There are loads of different mini-tournaments they host throughout the day and some of the most high-ranked pros will be taking center stage.
My table tennis betting tips post for Saturday starts with a look at some of the most entertaining bouts.
Today’s Table Tennis Games
Each of the events you will see below stage matchups in the traditional format. Some of the pros have multiple games to contest so be sure to check the full schedule in your betting site’s sportsbook as this is important when making your final decisions.
Moscow Liga Pro, Russia
Nearly 30 duels will be staged in the Russian capital today and here are the ones I look forward to the most:
- Dmitry Merzlikin vs. Kirill Abramov
- Alexey Yanshaev vs. Alexander Gribkov
- Ivan Pandur vs. Andrey Sadkov
- Alexander Chentsov vs. Vladimir Petrov
Setka Cup, Ukraine
The small Ukrainian city of Setka will be the venue for no less than 50 table tennis games today. You can bet on all of them with most bookmakers and the ones I’ll be focusing this Saturday are listed below:
- Denis Ivchenko vs. Andrey Peretyatka
- Maksym Cherepnin vs. Alexander Sulim
- Andry Panyushkin vs. Konstantin Kirsanov
ProSpin Series, Russia
The action at the ProSpin series continues today with six matches and here are two of the late ones:
- Roman Korolev vs. Igor Zaitsev
- Dmitriy Masliy vs. Konstantin Ermolenko
Let’s now move on to my top table tennis betting picks.
Betting Picks and Predictions for May 9th
I have prepared three free picks for this Saturday and they come with the latest odds and my reasoning.
Here are the choices for Saturday:
- Alexander Chentsov vs. Vladimir Petrov; -140
- Maksym Cherepnin vs. Alexander Sulim; -165
- Roman Korolev vs. Igor Zaitsev; -190
Alexander Chentsov should once again breeze past Vladimir Petrov. He has dominated past ties against this opponent at Liga Pro event and the odds of -140 seem like a great deal.
The same goes for Maksym Cherepnin vs. Alexander Sulim. I expect Cherepnin to continue his good run in the tournament and snatch another comfortable win against Sulim here.
Moving on to the ProSpin Series, I back Roman Korolev to beat Igor Zaitsev. The favorite unexpectedly lost to Vladimir Lodigin yesterday but he remains arguably the top contestant in the tournament and Zaitsev has not beaten him in a very long time.
