Table Tennis Betting Tips, Predictions, and Picks for Today – Monday, May 11, 2020
Let’s kickstar the week with some table tennis betting tips! The European professional scene is jam-packed with close to a dozen tournaments right now and you will odds for the games in nearly every online sportsbook that covers the sport.
This post focuses on three different competitions as I lay out their schedules and some of the most exciting matchups we can bet on today.
But be sure to stay until the end as I share my top table tennis betting picks for Monday!
Today’s Table Tennis Games
Let’s sink our teeth into the options we have today. Russia is once again hosting some of the most attractive tournaments but I also have a look at the Ukrainian Setka Cup.
Moscow Liga Pro, Russia
A bunch of mini-tournaments taking place early in the day make up today’s schedule for the Liga Pro. Here are four mid-day ties you can bet on:
- Andrey Kirilenko vs. Vitalii Bazilevski
- Vladimir Safonov vs. Yurii Merkushin
- Kirill Abramov vs. Alexander Chentsov
- Denis Sayanov vs. Alexander Petrov
Setka Cup, Ukraine
With no less than 70 games scheduled to take place today, the Setka Cup is always an exciting betting option.
My picks from Monday’s schedule are listed below:
- Andrey Troyan vs. Sergey Budelny
- Dmitry Hairov vs. Konstantin Klimenko
- Timur Karchevskiy vs. Pavel Babenko
- Yuriy Kurischenko vs. Eduard Rubtcov
ProSpin Series, Russia
I once again include the ProSpin Series in my table tennis betting tips as it’s becoming more and more popular with bettors around the world each day.
Today’s last two games are as follows:
- Anatoly Gorelkin vs. Ivan Tolmachev
- Vladimir Lodigin vs. Oleg Tretyakov
Before I proceed to the betting angle, I want to make sure you understand how important it is to use a reputable bookmaker when betting on table tennis online.
This is the only way you can stay on top of all the latest developments and get competitive odds. Plus, they are the ones that provide the best sign-up packages so you are missing out on a lot of stuff if you’re making a compromise with your betting platform.
Our team of experts regularly scour the field for the best ones and you can see our list of recommendations below:
Betting Picks and Predictions for May 11th
Time to see where the betting value lies today. Here are my top table tennis picks for Monday:
- Denis Sayanov to beat Alexander Petrov; -120
- Pavel Babenko to beat Timur Karchevskiy; -175
- Anatoly Gorelkin to beat Ivan Tolmachev; +180
- Vladimir Lodigin to beat Oleg Tretyakov; -125
There is not a lot that separates Denis Sayanov and Alexander Petrov but Sayanov has a slight edge in the head-to-head department and he wins more games than Petrov when these contestants are given odds of -120.
Despite losing his last game, Pavel Babenko has strung together some great performances lately and he should have no problems brushing aside the lower-ranked Timur Karchevskiy.
Let’s look at the ProSpin Series’ late games.
I’m quite surprised to see Anatoly Gorelkin being give such high odds. Tolmachev has handed him some heavy defeats in the past but the last four meetings between these two have ended with a Gorelkin win and I just can’t pass on this price.
For my last pick, I’m going with a victory for Vladimir Lodigin over Oleg Tretyakov. Lodigin has struggled against opponents like Ovcharenko and Korolev, but Tretyakov poses a much easier test and the favorite should come out on top here.
