Table Tennis Betting Tips May 15, 2020

We’re approaching another weekend but the table tennis action won’t be slowing down any time soon. Friday sees nearly a dozen tournaments taking place in Europe and you can find odds for all of them online.

My table tennis betting tips for Friday, May 15th, bring you an overview of the schedule for three of the top events and there are also four betting picks waiting for you in the end, so don’t go anywhere!

Today’s Table Tennis Games

Let’s see what we can bet on today. Each of the events I have chosen stage matches early in the day but also have a lot of late bouts you can take your pick from.

ProSpin Series

The tournament has become the go-to option for table tennis bettors across the globe. The volume of the games is relatively low compared to other competitions but there are always juicy odds flying around.

Here are three duels you should consider today:

  • Nikita Gubanov vs. Ivan Tolmachev
  • Ivan Tolmachev vs. Dmitry Masliy
  • Nikita Gubanov vs. Igor Ovcharenko

Setka Cup

The tournament takes place in the small Ukrainian town of Setka and usually has the richest daily program of all the table tennis events out there.

Today is no different and here are three of its most interesting ties below:

  • Dmitry Smirnov vs. Andrey Melchenko
  • Evgeniy Mulyukin vs. Andrii Kurtenko
  • Dmitry Smirnov vs. Maksym Mrykh

Armenia TT Cup

The top rated table tennis betting sites all cover the Armenian competition and several pros will be taking to the tables today as they play out multiple games against each other.

My top three choices for Friday, May 15th, are below:

  • Harutyun Harutyunyan vs. Karen Papyan
  • Gegham Gevorgyan vs. Erik Grigoryan
  • Dabit Abakimyan vs. Erik Grigoryan

I’ve already mentioned the best table tennis bookmakers and before I go to my daily predictions, I want to stress how important it is to use a bookmaker that gives you security, enough flexibility, and reacts fast to the changing dynamics of this sport.

Make sure you’re in safe hands by exploring the online sportsbooks our team of experts recommends for your table tennis wagers:

Betting Picks and Predictions for May 15th

Time to lay out my top table tennis picks for Friday. I present them with the latest odds and you can read my reasoning below:

  • Ivan Tolmachev to beat Dmitry Masliy; +110
  • Igor Ovcharenko to beat Nikita Gubanov; +110
  • Andrii Kurtenko to beat Evgeniy Mulyukin; -175
  • Gegham Gevorgyan vs. Erik Grigoryan; -215

Dmitry Masliy is given the nod by most bookmakers and this gives you a great opportunity to capitalize on the terrific odds for Ivan Tolmachev. The presumed underdog has beaten Masliy in the Boom Cup event and is currently on a good run so you should definitely consider backing him here.

The same applies to Igor Ovcharenko who may still be struggling to outmuscle the top pros in the tournament but Gubanov has shown a drop in form recently and is looking vulnerable right now.

Another pro who is flying high right now is Andrii Kurtenko who should make quick work of the struggling Evgeniy Mulyukin at the Setka Cup event.

For my Armenian TT betting pick, I back Gegham Gevorgyan to nail another victory against Erik Grigoriyan. After all, the favorite has beaten his opponent seven times in their last eight meetings. The odds are not as high but it’s practically free money with the way Gevorgyan has been playing recently.
