The thing to note here is that unlike other CS:GO Grand Finals, this matchup will be played in the traditional Best of 3 format and neither team will have a round advantage coming into it.

The Russian organization was by far the best team in the group stage after winning all five of their ties and advanced to the playoffs full of confidence.

They met one of the big favorites in Virtus.pro in the quarterfinals and despite a woeful performance on Mirage, captain chopper led his team to impressive wins on both Inferno and Overpass.

Overall, these guys have only lost two maps during the whole event and their focus and ability to deliver in the clutch will be a huge advantage for them coming into the Grand Final.

Nobody expected to see Winstrike contesting the final game but the team has shocked us all with their determination, tactics, and individual skill.

There were some shaky performances in the group stage but the 3-2 record they racked up was enough to send them to the lower bracket where they got the job done.

Syman Gaming was easily dispatched and Hard Legion didn’t put much of resistance either.

Sure, you can say that with Natus Vincere and Virtus.pro out of the way, Winstrike got the luck of the draw but their performances should by no means be underestimated.

Hobbit’s team has definitely been a pleasant surprise and they do boast good records on maps like Dust II, Train, and Vertigo.

However, their record on Train is the only one that firmly stands out and Spirit can easily remove the map before their opponents have a chance to pick it.

This can pave the way for a dominant win for the favorites and that is exactly what I’m going for here.

Captain chopper is a far better tactician than his counterpart Hobbit and he has mir in his ranks, who has a legitimate chance of being named the MVP of the tournament.

Overall, the team is in better form and possesses much bigger technical arsenal, not to mention the fact their chemistry and mentality are off the charts right now.

They are firmly locked in on the prize and I doubt we’ll see them underperform today. Winstrike will give it a good go but I fail to see how the result will be different from their previous meeting with Spirit.

The odds for that scenario are terrific so let’s go for a 2:0 win for the favorites.
