Slutsk vs. Vitebsk Odds, Prediction, and Pick – Belarusian Premier League, April 11
In this Slutsk vs. Vitebsk betting preview, I take a look at the odds for both teams, and I also provide you with a match preview and my pick.
After the poor showings from both clubs last year, the beginning of this new season has been something of a revelation for Slutsk and Vitebsk. The home side is a small club in the Belarusian Premier League and was expected to struggle this year but has already picked up six points from its opening two fixtures.
Vitebsk is more established but has done nothing of note since coming back up to the top flight in 2015. It was very nearly relegated last year, finishing just one point above Dnyapro Mogilev in 13th. So two wins from three is a pretty good record so far.

Latest Slutsk vs. Vitebsk Odds
There is very little to choose between these two teams, and the odds supplied by BetOnline reflect that parity. Slutsk is the favorite to win this game, but that might be purely down to its home field advantage than anything else.
There have been a number of new faces in the Slutsk starting eleven this season, but it is probably Russian striker Artem Serdyuk who has made the biggest impact. He scored two goals in the first game against Slavia Mozyr and contributed in a big way to the win over Isloch last time out. He made way for Abdoul Gafar, who went on to grab the winner 15 minutes before the end.
But the entire squad has stepped up in the opening three games, and it is that team spirit that has taken Slutsk to second in the table and made Vitali Pavlov’s side the highest scorers in Belarus. Vitebsk will be no pushover, but Slutsk will be thinking another win is achievable here.
The reason for that quiet optimism might be the level of opposition Vitebsk has faced so far in picking up its six points. Gorodeya, Neman, and Smolevichi are hardly the big hitters of Belarusian soccer, and Vitebsk’s current position in the league should be viewed with those fixtures in mind.
Even with those two victories, Vitebsk has only managed to score on two occasions this season and might find that the Slutsk attack is sharper than anything that it has faced up until now. New keeper Artem Soroko might be a busy man here.
Slutsk vs. Vitebsk Pick
Slutsk to Win+123
Of the two sides, Slutsk is definitely the one to look out for as the season progresses. Goals can be fairly scarce outside the two big teams in Belarus, so for it to get going so quickly could be a sign that this is going to be a better year for one of the smaller clubs in the top flight.
Another win here would certainly make the others sit up and take notice.
