Slutsk vs. Belshina Bobruisk Odds, Prediction, and Pick – Belarusian Premier League, April 26
It’s top versus bottom on Sunday as Slutsk looks to continues its positive start to the new season with a home game against newly promoted Belshina Bobruisk, and this Slutsk vs. Belshina Bobruisk betting preview provides you with the details.
The visiting side has found the pace of the top tier fairly tough so far and is yet to win a single game in the first five rounds of fixtures. There would seem to be little chance of that changing this week, but we have already seen a number of surprise results already this year in Belarus.
Slutsk vs. Belshina Bobruisk Odds
Quality sportsbook BetOnline has table-topping Slutsk as worthy favorites here, but I am a little surprised at how short the odds are for a Belshina victory. The club from Bobruisk has done nothing of note so far this season in the Belarusian Premier League and would seem to stand little chance of coming away from this with any points.
Slutsk vs. Belshina Bobruisk Match Preview
It has been a fantastic 2020 for Slutsk on the pitch so far. Three wins out of five have seen the club climb to the top of the table, scoring the most goals of anyone in the league. There had been little evidence of Slutsk pushing for the title in previous seasons, but it has been one of the most consistent teams this year.
The most recent win was against cup holders Shakhtyor Soligorsk where Slutsk were able to survive a red card and a penalty (that was missed) and still take all three points. Expect the home side to push from the start here and look to form an unassailable lead.
It just gets tougher for Belshina. Last week’s bottom-of-the-table clash with Smolevichi looked like a good chance to climb off the bottom of the table. But a 1-1 draw summed up the season so far, and now last year’s second-tier champions must face the form team in the league.
The one positive that Belshina coach Eduard Gradoboyev can look to is that there have been no defeats in the last two games. They may have only picked up two points in that time, but that is just about all there is to hold onto for the visitors here.
Slutsk to Win-136
As much as we have seen a whole host of surprise scorelines this season in the Belarusian Premier League, I’m not expecting Belshina to add its name to the list this weekend. It has looked outclassed in many of the games it has played so far, and Slutsk has now built up a good head of steam as it has climbed higher in the table. This is a home win all the way.
