SK Wyverns vs. Lotte Giants Betting Preview With Pick – May 8, South Korean KBO League

I thought that the SK Wyverns will be better at the start of the season, but the team already lost twice against the Hanhwa Eagles. The first game was abysmal and while the side bounced back in the second, the third was once again poor.

There’s no consistency whatsoever and that could hurt the Wyverns in the upcoming clash against Lotte. The Giants are leading the KBO after three impressive victories and are the team with the most runs up to this point of the competition.

That’s a huge problem for a side that couldn’t contain an opponent that’s weaker on paper and Wyverns’ pitchers are poised for a tough game on Friday.

I simply feel obliged to back the Lotte Giants in my prediction. The team has been excellent and can punish the struggling Wyverns with ease. I won’t be shocked to see 8+ runs in favor of the Giants once again.

The big question is if the Wyverns can respond, as Lotte’s pitchers haven’t been stellar either. This one could be wild if both sides take off early.

Until Lotte slows down, I may as well continue riding them in my KBO predictions. The Giants are hitting a league-high .305 as a team and have four sac flies.

Flip the coin and the Wyverns are batting just .257 and are yet to record a single sac fly. You should be stoked that the top baseball bookmakers are willing to lay the juice for us if we choose to invest in Lotte.
