We’ve reached the quarterfinals stage of the European division’s DreamHack qualifiers and eight teams are still in with a chance of clinching a spot at the major event.

OG is the definite favorite here. FATE is way down in the rankings but their recent form suggests they are ready to enter a higher level. But are they good enough to trouble a Top 20 team? Let’s see if the Bulgarians can salvage anything from this tie.

The team is fresh from an inspired performance at this year’s ESL Pro League and will be confident of nailing a spot at the DreamHack.

Captain Aleksib was hailed by fellow professionals for his recent tactics and leadership skills, and players NBK- and mantuu have been excellent in the past couple of months.

There is still some way to go before they can reach the very top of the CS:GO charts but the team is definitely going places and this matchup is a great chance to try a few new things and keep the good vibe going.

The Bulgarians have been on a roll lately and currently sit on a five-game winning streak. The team recorded some dominant performances against Prima, Vexed, and Espada, and there was also a good win against Wisla Krakow in there.

A lot will depend on captain doublemagic’s tactics here and the kill count that mar will be able to produce. The team has shown some good quality but they will definitely be punching above their weight against OG.

A win here will see them skyrocket up the rankings but I feel it’s a bit too early for the organization to effectively challenge the Top 20 teams.

I would love to see a fairytale scenario here but FATE simply doesn’t have the resources to overcome such quality.

Aleksib and his team made huge strides in the ESL Pro League and are simply on a whole other level.

This will be more of a practice match than anything else and I won’t be surprised to see the favorite clinch the tie in record time regardless of the maps.

I can’t go with anything else than a 2:0 win for OG and in these circumstances, and you won’t get a better price for that outcome than the -200 provided by Betway.
