NiP vs. GODSENT Betting Preview With Prediction and Pick – CS_SUMMIT 6, June 30th

| June 30, 2020 12:19 am PDT

Yet another Scandivanian derby is on the horizon today in the CS_SUMMIT 6 playoff stage.

Ninjas in Pyjamas and GODSENT both fell to the lower bracket yesterday and will have one last chance to stay in the hunt for the title.

The Ninjas navigated their group with relative ease while GODSENT impressed with great performances against G2 and mousesports.

So, can the underdogs take revenge for the heavy loss they endured at the hands of the Ninjas at the ESL One qualifiers?

In my NiP vs. GODSENT betting preview for today, I try to answer this question by looking at the odds that the best CS:GO betting sites have rolled out and sharing an overview of both organizations’ respective current form.

There is also a free betting pick in the end, so be sure to stick around!

NiP vs. GODSENT Odds

The prices below are courtesy of 10Bet’s sportsbook. Here are the three main markets you can bet on:

NiP (-1.5) +125
GODSENT (+1.5) -180

Over/Under Full Time

Over 2.5 +109
Under 2.5 -155

As expected, the No. 13 seed in the CS:GO rankings is given the advantage here. Let’s move on to my analysis and see what is the best way to approach the betting angle.

NiP Team Analysis

The Ninjas had no problem topping their group at the CS_SUMMIT but we have to acknowledge the fact that they played two of the biggest underdogs in the tournament.

Heroic did put up a brief fight but their fellow countrymen x6tence were taught a lesson by hampus and his team in record time.

The real test for NiP was yesterday when they went head-to-head with Fnatic in the Upper Bracket.

The Ninjas were always in the game but their opponents were better in the closing stages on both Overpass and Inferno.

Despite that, there were a lot of positives to take away yet again and I feel the Ninjas will be fired up to make amends here, especially after seeing how BIG decimated today’s opponents GODSENT in the last round.

GODSENT Team Analysis

Captain kRYSTAL’s highly tactical approach was very successful against both mousesports and G2 in the group stage.

The team secured qualification for the Upper Bracket and despite they were never the favorites against Germans BIG, I expected more quality and determination from them yesterday.

Frenchmen OG showed how tabseN and his crew can be beaten but GODSENT never really got going with their tactics and their showing as counter-terrorists on both maps was simply woeful.

I believe they will once again try the same approach against REZ, nawwk, and Plopski but they will have to improve a lot on their execution if they want a different result today.

NiP vs. GODSENT Betting Prediction and Pick

GODSENT are definitely making positive strides but it’s evident that they don’t hold the same experience and quality as most of the teams that make it to the playoff stage of such events regularly.

It’s true that some of the elite organizations don’t bother too much in such tournaments, especially in the group stage, but NiP is definitely not one of them.

They may have failed to win a title so far but they are always ready for a fight and even when they get bested, it’s almost always a very tight matchup that could easily go either way.

Sure, there is a lot of room for improvement but you can’t question NiP’s professionalism and I feel they will be able to take full advantage of GODSENT’s inexperience today.

They pummeled them when the teams last met back in March and although kRYSTAL and his crew have improved slightly, I feel they are still far away from making a mark in playoff games.

The odds for another 2:0 win for NiP over GODSENT make for a great price and that’s where the betting value is for me.
