Neman Grodno vs. Belshina Bobruisk Odds, Prediction, and Pick – Belarusian Premier League, April 10

Three games into the new season, and these two sides are pretty much about where most people would have expected before a ball was kicked. Neman Grodno may have been ever-present in the Belarusian top flight, but it has never really troubled the top spots. So its current mid-table position is par for the course.
Belshina won the First League last season but was always going to struggle against the bigger teams in the top tier. Three successive defeats may be disappointing for manager Eduard Gradoboev, but this is a steep learning curve for the players. Going to Grodno and coming back with anything will be just as tough.
You can find my thoughts on this match below in this Neman Grodno vs. Belshina Bobruisk betting preview.
Latest Odds
Belshina is finding it hard to get anything going so far this season, and it is no surprise that bookmaker BetOnline has made the Bobruisk club the underdog here. Longer odds might have been expected for an away win, but these prices look just about right.
Neman Grodno vs. Belshina Bobruisk Preview
Neman Grodno has never finished higher than fourth in the Belarusian Premier League and has not really gotten anywhere near that lofty height for a few seasons now. So a steady start to the new campaign was probably to be expected. The goalless draw with Shakhtyor last time out could be seen as the result of the year so far.
There were a lot of new faces brought in over the offseason, especially up front. But just two goals in two games forced manager Igor Kovalevich to turn to Zoran Marusic to lead the line against Shakhtyor. But he is more of an attacking midfielder than an out-and-out goalscorer and was unable to find the net in a game that Neman would probably consider as a point gained.
Kovalevich will hope that whoever he puts up front will be able to grab a few goals on Friday, though. Belshina is the only team not to pick up a single point so far this year and has the most porous defense in the league. The worrying thing is that it has not had to face any of the really big boys yet, either.
Looking for positives, Belshina has restricted its opponents to just one goal in the last two games, but if the strikers are not doing a good enough job, then that is all it will take for the newly promoted club to suffer another defeat. It is difficult to see when the tide will turn.
My Pick
-
Neman Grodno to Win-122
This is a very good opportunity for Neman to pick some points fairly easily. If Belshina looks to try to contain its opponents, there might not be many goals scored. But the home side will know that it will only need a few chances to score in this game in order to take all three points.
