NBA DFS Sleepers at Each Position for Wednesday, November 20th

Big NBA Wednesday arrives on 11/20, as daily fantasy basketball and NBA betting fans alike get a huge 11-game basketball slate to work with.
That means there are a ton of studs worth paying up for, and if you like the “stars and scrubs” lineup approach, this could be the slate for you. Regardless, with 22 teams in action, there is bound to be a crazy amount of NBA news impacting how we look at these games.
In turn, that should open up all kinds of value. We can only start our NBA DFS lineup building process with what we know, though.
With that, here’s an early look at some of the best daily fantasy basketball value plays at DraftKings for Wednesday night.
Top NBA DFS Sleepers at Point Guard
- Donte DiVincenzo – Milwaukee Bucks ($4.7k)
- Frank Ntilikina – New York Knicks ($4.5k)
- Markelle Fultz – Orlando Magic ($4.4k)
- Ky Bowman – Golden State Warriors ($4.4k)
D’Angelo Russell remains out, and Draymond Green will be a rest candidate with the Warriors on the second leg of a back-to-back set. That puts Bowman firmly in play, and he’s shown in the past he can both score and distribute.
Bowman is my main guy at point guard, but don’t sleep on Donte DiVincenzo, who scored 15 points in his last game and handed in a full stat line. He is starting to cook with gas, and the Bucks are growing more and more confident in their second-year guard.
Shooting Guard Sleepers to Target
- Gary Harris – Denver Nuggets ($4.5k)
- Tyler Herro – Miami Heat ($4.4k)
- Cam Reddish – Atlanta Hawks ($4k)
I am a fan of Herro’s game, and he could continue to see good usage off the bench and a few Miami bodies still sidelined. However, the shooting guard that jumps out is Reddish.
The former Blue Devil has a solid role with Kevin Huerter set to miss the next 4-5 weeks and has logged 27+ minutes in his last two games. A date with the Bucks isn’t ideal, but he does a little bit of everything and should have a reliable role.
NBA DFS Small Forward Sleepers
- Garrett Temple – Brooklyn Nets ($4.7k)
- P.J. Tucker – Houston Rockets ($4.6k)
- Kevin Porter Jr. – Cleveland Cavaliers ($4.4k)
Small forward looks like a position to spend some money on, as Paul George remains too cheap and The Greek Freak heads a fairly loaded position.
If you must save here, consider Tucker, as he rebounds well, can hit open threes, and is prone to rack up defensive stats. The big selling point, though, is the fact that he typically plays all of the minutes he can handle.
NBA DFS Power Forward Value Picks
- Al-Farouq Aminu – Orlando Magic ($4.5k)
- De’Andre Hunter – Atlanta Hawks ($4.2k)
Aminu will be the top value here if big man Jonathan Isaac is again out for the Orlando Magic. Isaac has missed the last two games with an ankle injury and is questionable to return tonight.
AFA has taken advantage of the injury, drawing the start and logging 31+ minutes in both games. He has one brilliant effort and one that was pedestrian, which is classic Aminu. He’s still worth a roll of the dice if you want to save some cash, though.
Center Sleepers for Wednesday, 11/20
- Brook Lopez – Milwaukee Bucks ($5.9k)
- Wendell Carter – Chicago Bulls ($5.5k)
Center is another spot where there isn’t much value at the moment. There is also a ridiculous number of elite centers on this slate, so I’m not sure this is the spot to punt, regardless.
Lopez is better than his price tag suggests, however. Milwaukee is searching for extra offense with Khris Middleton on the shelf, and Lopez has answered the call with 15+ points in each of his last two games.
Summary
Like always, this post is being pushed out first thing in the morning, so I’m working with way less news than you’ll find trickling out throughout Wednesday.
This is also an obscene 11-game slate, so there is going to be a lot to figure out leading up to lock. These NBA DFS sleepers will at least dip your toe in the daily fantasy waters, and hopefully one or two of them will help you piece together a GPP-winning lineup.
