Natus Vincere vs. Betting Preview and Prediction, April 30, 2020

The latest Dota 2 brought chaos to the competitive scene and I’m loving it! The update reduced all talents by 20%, made pushing harder, removed the gold earned from denies, and added a bunch of other changes that completely transformed the game.

While the long-term consequences are questionable, the effect on the matches from the Pushka League has been entertaining. It’s refreshing to watch some of the top teams in Europe and CIS put in a position that requires them to adapt almost instantly and rely more on innovation and instincts than experience. I like that and I intend to enjoy it while it lasts!

Let’s close the topic by moving on to my Natus Vincere vs. betting preview. It’s focused on the late match from the Pushka League Division 1 scheduled for today.

My main goal is to find the best betting pick based on the latest odds of the top Dota 2 bookmakers online, analysis of both sides, and my prediction.

Natus Vincere vs. Odds and Lines

  • Natus Vincere to win; +282
  • to win; -400
  • Natus Vincere (+1.5); -120
  • (-1.5); -106
  • Over 2.5; +132
  • Under 2.5; -172

The Natus Vincere vs. odds and lines above can be found at BetOnline, one of my favorite bookmakers for esports. The gambling platform offers another 40 markets or so for those of you who might be looking for other options.

Natus Vincere Team Analysis

The start of the Pushka League wasn’t good for Natus Vincere. The team lost against HellRaisers and looked hopeless in the process, but that defeat obviously woke up Na’Vi. The squad won the next three matches and was impressive for large periods of them.

I loved the clash against FlyToMoon, in particular, and I believe it displayed Natus Vincere’s ability to try unusual strategies. That will be really helpful considering the unstable nature of Dota 2 right now. Team Analysis

I must admit that I expected more from so far in the tournament. The Russians won the ESL One LA and have been cruising in the Epic Prime League recently. It seems like the latest changes have affected them too because both matches in the Pushka League so far were close.

VP barely edged FlyToMoon and then lost against HellRaisers. The team needs a victory today to get back on track and the alternative might put the next stage in danger.

Natus Vincere vs. Prediction and Pick

  • Over 2.5; +132

Everyone expects a win for here but I’m not sure that’s a sensible prediction under the circumstances and I believe another option is much better. Most matches of both teams up to this point have been decided after three rounds.

If you add the chaotic nature of Dota 2 at the moment, going for the over 2.5 that’s available for +132 looks like the betting pick with the most value.

I’m sure that you would be interested in more action for today, so I have two suggestions for you. The first one would be to take a look at my top esports betting picks for Thursday.
