Nathan Aspinall vs. Jelle Klaasen Odds, Prediction, and Pick for April 8 – PDC Darts at Home

Wednesday will see Nathan Aspinall take on Jelle Klaasen in the PDC Darts at Home event.

The two players haven’t faced each other a lot during their careers but we do have enough information to decide how this game may pan out.

The 28-year-old is one of the top darts players at the moment and he is currently sitting in 7th position in the global rankings.

His last outing before the PDC Darts at Home event was at the Players Championship 8 tournament where he surprisingly lost to Latvian Madars Razma.

However, prior to the the defeat, Aspinall had won seven games on the trot. He has had enough time to ponder over his sub-par performance against Razma and will be looking to get a good result in his last Darts at Home game today.  

Jelle Klaasen has been a bit tentative in his outings as of late. While he has racked up some wins against lower-ranked opposition, he is still unable to regularly challenge the elite. And Aspinall is definitely in that bracket.

Whichever way you look at this, Klaasen will have a mountain to climb against his third opponent of the day and I don’t think he has the quality to last very long. 

Aspinall should have this in the bag. His recent record shows that he has not only defeated most of his opponents, but he is beating them heavily.

The two players do not have a long-standing rivalry but in 4 meetings, the Englishman has racked up three victories.

I just can’t see this ending in anything other than a comprehensive win for Aspinall. That’s why I’m going all-in on the favorite and will pick the spread option here for the biggest price.
