Movistar Riders vs. FaZe Clan Betting Preview and Prediction

The ESL One Road to Rio took a short break and is back with plenty of matches on Tuesday. I intend to watch at least a couple of them in both the EU and NA regions. Naturally, I also explore them from a betting perspective.

My Movistar Riders vs. FaZe Clan betting preview is focused on one of the clashes in Europe. I go through the latest odds and lines, share my analysis of both sides, and finish with my prediction and a recommended betting pick.

Movistar Riders vs. FaZe Clan Betting Odds

  • Movistar Riders to win; +466
  • FaZe Clan to win; -769
  • Movistar Riders (+1.5); +138
  • FaZe Clan (-1.5); -179
  • Over 2.5; +184
  • Under 2.5; -244

The Movistar Riders vs. FaZe Clan odds and lines above are available at BetOnline, one of my favorite betting sites for CS:GO. What I like most about the bookmaker is the rich selection of betting markets for popular matches. You have access to around 40 of them for every ESL One Road to Rio clash, including this one.

Movistar Riders Team Analysis

Everyone thought that Movistar Riders won’t be relevant in the ESL One Road to Rio, but the Spaniards came here prepared to fight. People are now taking the team seriously after the first two rounds. The Riders destroyed mousesports and prevailed over c0ntact.

That puts them on top of the group with two victories and no defeats. The only other team that has such a record is FaZe Clan. The problem with that impressive performance is that the opponents won’t underestimate Movistar Riders and will prepare properly for the clash against them.

FaZe Clan Team Analysis

On the surface, FaZe Clan has been excellent so far. The team has two wins from two matches, but a deeper look shows it hasn’t been easy. North took one map in the opening round and the clash against G2 was full of twists and turns.

I don’t think that FaZe Clan has hit top form yet and the team is vulnerable right now. The big question here is if Movistar Riders can take advantage of the favorite’s weaknesses.

Movistar Riders vs. FaZe Clan Prediction and Pick

  • Over 2.5; +184

While I expect a win for FaZe Clan, just like everyone else, I don’t think it will be easy. My prediction is that Movistar Riders should be able to push the opponent to the limit at least on their own map pick and I won’t be shocked if the match is decided after three maps.

The price of +184 for over 2.5 maps is just too good to miss and my final pick for this clash.
