We are close to the conclusion of Phase 1 of the event and I take a look at a crunch tie between two top teams that have had very different fortunes as of late.

As you can see, there are some pretty big margins here. TYLOO are coming into the tie as a huge underdog, while Mousesports have been rolling and are deservedly the favorites.

Now for my analysis of the teams and my final betting prediction.

The organization is one of the favorites to win the ESL Pro League and with good reason. They have been stable all season and are currently ranked 4th. Their involvement in the league has so far been positive as well.

They started with a good win against FaZe and after losing to OG, they immediately improved to swat away Virtus.pro with ease.

Overall, a real top team with amazing quality and good chesmitry among the roster. Captin chrisj is a terrific leader and we have seen some crazy numbers from both ropz and frozen.

However, despite their good form, the recent losses against OG and 100 Thieves show that the team is not invincible especially on some of the key maps.

The Chinese team’s form at the ESL Pro League has been a disaster so far.

Their first two fixtures ended in blowout defeats against FaZe and OG. They did improve in the third tie with G2 Esports but were unable to make it count as they fell 2:1.

Overall, TYLOO’s last win came way back in early March when they overcame EHOME at the ESL One event. This form has resulted in them taking a big slump in the world rankings and has practically ended their chances of improving on last year’s record in the pro league.

But despite their recent fall from grace, the team remains a tough opponent and players Summer, somebody, and Attacker still pose a threat with their high kill count.

Mousesports have an advantage in almost every department, but I feel TYLOO are not as doomed as the odds suggest.

Sure, the team started off on the wrong foot in this year’s ESL Pro League, but they are still an elite squad. They are surely down on confidence right now, but have had a couple of days to dissect the loss against G2 Esports and will be desperate to improve and show they can still mix it up with the big boys.

Their head-to-head record against Mousesports is not great, but they did manage to beat them in Katowice last year and some of the losses have been very close.

I believe the Over 2.5 maps market is the best value here. As I said, Mousesports is not invincible and TYLOO has had success on some maps which their opponents have barely touched this season.

This can be a quick and painful defeat for the Chinese, but I’m backing them to improve here and clinch a round.
