mousesports vs. Movistar Riders Betting Preview

Friday’s ESL One: Road to Rio schedule will see Movistar Riders take on mousesports in one of the biggest mismatches we’ve seen recently at the top level.

The Mouz is coming into the event on the back of an excruciating final defeat against Fnatic at the ESL Pro League and will be looking to get back to winning ways. On the flip side, the Riders have done well to qualify for the tournament and now have a chance to present themselves to the elite outfits.

My mousesports vs. Movistar Riders betting preview for today includes odds for the matchup, analysis of both teams, and a betting prediction in the end.

Let’ see what the top CS:GO betting sites have in store for us.

I think the odds speak for themselves here so let’s move on to my team analysis.

mousesports – An Easy Sweep Coming Up?

The Mouz was looking scary in the advanced stages of the ESL Pro League. They managed to topple both Astralis and Natus Vincere with ease and made it to the final as a favorite to win despite Fnatic’s upper bracket advantage.

They did put up a good fight but their opponents held on and managed to clinch a narrow 3:2 win. It’s another disappointing result for this organization that seems to regularly advance to the final stages but fails to win the decisive match.

However, we’re still far off from thinking about that. The team needs to ensure they get off on the right track here and a match against Movistar Riders provides the perfect opportunity for chrisj, ropz, and frozen to warm up.

Movistar Riders – Can They Slay the Giant?

The Spanish team crept into the ESL One event by way of the European minor qualifiers. They will be thrilled to take part in such a huge CS:GO tournament but their match against mousesports means that life at the top level will come at them fast.

They are heading into this tie on the back of a solid 2:0 win against Wygers at the ESL Masters Espana competition but they will need much more quality if they are to make The Mouz uncomfortable.

Players ALEX and loWel have been in good form lately and it will be interesting to see whether they can carry that onto the top scene.

mousesports vs. Movistar Riders Prediction and Pick

This will probably be more of a practice match than anything else. I love the fact that the Riders have made it to the tournament but I simply can’t see them turning in an elite performance in just their first game at this level against such a quality opponent.

Maybe there will be a chance for them to upset the odds somewhere along the road but this should be a clean sweep for The Mouz and a nice warmup for captain chrisj and his teammates.

The handicap odds are still low but they are a great deal considering the huge mismatch.
