Group B of the ESL One European qualifiers will see two matchups being played out today but all eyes will be on the clash between mousesports and FaZe Clan.

Captain NiKo and his teammates have enjoyed a great start to the tournament while The MouZ will be desperate to clinch a win here after their abysmal form condemned them to two early defeats.

The German organization has seen better days. After losing the final of the Pro League to Fnatic, they were expected to have a bright start to the ESL One qualifiers with some easy matchups in the first two rounds.

However, woeful performances against underdogs Movistar Riders and North saw them lose twice without clinching a single map.

Their third-round fixture against struggling c0ntact yielded a win but chrisj and his team will not be happy about losing a tiebreak on Inferno.

This is still an elite roster but ropz, woxic and frozen’s performances from the ESL Pro League are nowhere to be seen. I expect the team will improve at some point but a defeat today will make it very hard for them to advance to the playoffs.

FaZe has been one of the best teams in the qualifiers so far and they have racked up three consecutive wins in Group B.

North and G2 showed little resistance to broky and NiKo’s incredible form and the team will be happy to have clinched a win against the high-flying newcomers Movistar Riders.

Despite losing heavily on the Spaniards’ preferred map Overpass, FaZe rallied and put the surprise package to the sword with elite displays on both Mirage and Inferno.

The organization is in a great position right now and will be pumped up to continue their run. They are already one foot into the playoff stage and beating mousesports will practically seal their entry.

The MouZ has the edge in the head-to-head department as they recently beat FaZe Clan twice at the ESL Pro League. But both these ties were very tight and the teams are in a very much different state right now.

NiKo and broky have been among the best players in the qualifiers and their team has built up great momentum.

The pressure will be on mousesports to deliver and I trust FaZe will look to wave Dust II as they have never beaten their opponents on it.

Captain chrisj and his squad still hold an advantage on Train but the Clan is way better on Nuke, Inferno, Mirage, and Overpass right now.

I feel we’re in for a FaZe revenge here as I fail to see how The MouZ will be able to turn things around against a high-flying top team.

Keeping Dust II off the table will hand a big advantage to the Clan and I rely on them making the correct decision which can open the door for a complete rout.

The odds for a 2:0 win for NiKo and his guys are great given the circumstances and I just can’t miss out on them.
