MIBR vs. Orgless Betting Preview and Prediction

The CS:GO Flashpoint tournament is nearing its culmination and we have two quarter-finals to look forward to today.

MIBR already dispatched Orgless in the group stage but will we see a repeat in the playoffs? The Brazilians are looking solid but the Canadian organization has done well to reach this stage and shouldn’t be underestimated.

My MIBR vs. Orgless betting preview for Friday, April 10th looks at the odds that the best CS:GO betting sites have on offer and provides a prediction based on the form of the two teams and some key stats you should consider.

I wrap up with a free pick in the end so be sure to stick around.

MIBR vs. Orgless Odds

I have chosen Sportsbetting for this tie. The bookmaker has been following the whole tournament and has once again prepared some tasty options here. Let’s take a look at them:

Match Winner

MIBR -278
Orgless +222

Maps Handicap

MIBR (-1.5) +109
Orgless (+1.5) +355

Maps Total

Under 2.5 -147
Over 2.5 +116

As you can see, MIBR is given the advantage. Orgless are certainly in for a tough matchup but can captain FNS lead his team to an unlikely victory? Here is my analysis of both teams.

MIBR Analysis

The Flashpoint event has been a happy hunting ground for fer and company so far. They have been equally impressive in both group stages racking up 150 points in the process.

Winning the Group B grand final against Gen.G handed them the 2nd overall spot level with MAD Lions.

The team has struggled to assert themselves in other tournaments but is one of the big favorites to come away with the inaugural Flashpoint title and will be itching to continue their great form against a tentative Orgless squad.

Orgless Analysis

Much like their North American counterparts Chaos, Orgless had to work hard to get to the playoffs. Their early exit from Phase 2 was worrying but luckily for them, they did enough at the start of the tournament to warrant a place in the quarter-finals.

Captain FNS is their best player and his teammates will look to him to provide the spark in their toughest matchup so far.

Subroza and yay were excellent in the win against Dignitas but have failed to impress in other outings and this inconsistency is a definite problem when you’re going up against such an experienced outfit.

MIBR vs. Orgless Betting Pick and Prediction

Orgless are probably the biggest underdogs in the playoff bracket and I can’t see them overcoming MIBR here. They made their way to this stage by practically winning only one game, as their other victory was awarded after FunPlus Phoenix had to abandon the match.

They can possibly still put up a decent performance in the lower bracket but they haven’t won against a real top team in a while.

The Brazilians have had their fair share of issues in other tournaments such as the ESL Pro League but have shown their best form in the Flashpoint fixtures.

FalleN and fer will both contest the MVP prize and a tie against Orgless is the perfect opportunity for them to continue their relentless form. They already swept the Americans once and the odds for achieving this again carry great value.

So, I’m concluding this MIBR vs. Orgless betting preview by backing the Brazilians to have an easy outing:

  • MIBR (-1.5)
