Group B of the 2020 DreamHack Masters European bracket started off with a couple of very surprising results that completely changed the entire complexion.

Today, MAD Lions will try to erase their bad start but they will be facing Complexity Gaming who are full of confidence right now.

Captain blameF and his teammates decimated mousesports in their opening fixture and will look to take an even bigger step to the Upper Bracket of the playoffs today.

My MAD Lions vs. Complexity betting preview for Saturday, May 23rd, brings you the main betting options and a look at how the organizations have been doing lately.

The Lions roared to the Flashpoint title in April but a lot has happened since then and the team’s absence from the pro scene has definitely weakened them.

They still have the quality and tactical resources to overcome Complexity but it will be way tougher then it would‘ve been for AcilioN and his team a month ago.

Time for my overview of the organizations’ recent form.

As I already mentioned, the Danes lost their opening DreamHack fixture at the hands of Germans BIG.

They started well on their preferred map Mirage but the rustiness that has settled into the squad didn’t allow them to challenge their opponents in the two remaining rounds.

It’s evident that the team is nowhere near their Flashpoint mood and will need some time to build momentum and shore up the mistakes.

However, they need to do it fast as a defeat today will almost certainly send them to the Lower Bracket. If they even qualify for the playoffs.

The organization failed to make a big mark at the ESL One: Road to Rio event and endured an early exit but there were definite positives in their displays.

They met some of the deadliest teams on the CS:GO scene and ended up taking a round against all of them. Winning a map against top dogs Astralis was a particular highlight.

Captain blameF and his guys are definitely going places and with their opening 2:0 win against mousesports, they will be flying high.

It’s no surprise that the best CS:GO betting sites are all pinning them as the favorite.

Complexity is on the up and can make a huge statement today.

The Lions may not be hitting top form right now but it’s not like this game will be a walk in the park for Complexity.

They have certainly improved since the start of the season and their good balance on the tactical and killing fronts is now a problem for any opposition.

However, the Danes have certainly taken a good look at themselves after falling to BIG and the defeat can help get the best out of their current shape.

It’s tough to name the winner here but I’m definitely confident this will be a tight event.

Complexity will probably move to wave Mirage and the tie will be fair game on any other map.

This should go to three rounds and that is my final betting pick here.
