KBO Predictions for Tuesday, May 19 (Round 13)

The KBO returns on Tuesday after a short break and we have five new series that will take place in the next couple of days. Some of them promise a lot of excitement and of course, they represent a good betting opportunity.

I know that some of you will be trying to make some money, so I decided to help with my KBO predictions for round 13. This post features a short analysis of the key points in every clash. If you prefer a more in-depth evaluation, we also provide betting previews for each individual game in question.

The first clash in my KBO predictions represents a classic battle of styles. The Hanwha Eagles are the second-best pitching team in most key categories and every game of the side is a hard-fought battle. Just look at the latest series against the Lotte Giants that saw there close encounters and two wins for the Eagles by a single run.

They now face KT Wiz Suwon that sits second in runs scored and relies mostly on batting to win games. It must be mentioned that the stats of the team are slightly inflated by the shocking display of the Samsung Lions in the latest series.

In my opinion, none of the teams can dominate the upcoming games and they will trade blows. And yet, I think that the Eagles will snatch the first one as they just beat the strong Giants and will have a lot of confidence.

I don’t have many doubts about the next one, as the Samsung Lions have been abysmal since the start of the season. Their pitchers are almost decent at times, but the team’s performance in the batting department has been shocking.

That will be a huge problem against LG. The Twins are one of the teams that can expertly exploit any weakness, so I won’t be surprised to see three victories in their favor in the upcoming series.

Next in line is the series between Lotte and KIA. The Giants are among the best KBO teams in most statistical categories and look like one of the most balanced sides out there. They can score runs, but they can also suffocate the opposition.

They are my favorite against the KIA Tigers and I believe that Lotte will win at least two out of the three games. And yet, the opponent must not be underestimated after the wins against the Bears and the Heroes so far in the season.

On their day, the Tigers can surprise anyone but I prefer to play it safe for Tuesday and back the better team.

The best pitching team faces the best batting team in the KBO this week. The Bears have been inconsistent and have the worst ERA in the league, but they have shown their immense potential when it comes to scoring runs.

This team can hit the ball and I believe a victory against NC is on the cards. The Dinos have gone through extra innings on numerous occasions recently and most of their games have been close, even against mediocre opposition.

They still find ways to win, but I think that the Bears can punish their mistakes and it’s time for the Dinos to lose.

The Kiwoom Heroes started the season very well before hitting a short slump recently and losing four in a row. They managed to bounce back on Sunday, though, beating the LG Twins comfortably to secure a spot in the middle of the KBO table.

Their next task is much easier because the Wyverns have been the worst team out there. Nothing has been working so far and there’s not a single positive area. The pitching has been bad, the batting is on the same level, and the morale is down.

I think that the Heroes have all the means to take full advantage of their opponent’s problems and start the series with a win on Tuesday.
