KBO Predictions for Sunday, June 7 (Round 30)

We’ve had a lot of drama in the KBO on Saturday with plenty of close games that could’ve gone either way. Some of the teams will be disappointed and eager to finish the week with a victory and they will have that opportunity on Sunday, June 7.

This post includes my KBO predictions for round 30 and you can find my thoughts and analysis on every single match from the competition. There are no betting picks or odds included, because the bookmakers haven’t released them at the time I’m writing these.

The Tigers were leading for most of the game on Saturday, but they eventually lost by 4-3 after three unanswered runs in the last three innings. The Bears were shaky throughout the match and they barely edged the opponent.

KIA is getting closer and since Doosan usually loses at least one game per series, I think we might see a victory for the Tigers on Sunday. They obviously can hold the opponent and it’s only a matter of slightly improving in the batting department.

I believe we’ll watch another close game at the end of the week, but I fancy the Tigers this time around.

You probably know the drill when it comes to this series. The Dinos have been way ahead in the opening two games, scoring a total of 27 runs and conceding only 4. There’s no way that the Eagles can catch up with the KBO leaders in a single day.

I would be shocked if NC doesn’t win here and this is the easiest of my KBO predictions for round 30.

The second game between Suwon and Lotte was decided by a single run in the last inning. It doesn’t get closer than that and the Giants will be delighted with the result. And yet, I believe that KT Wiz still has some fight left.

The team has been just a step behind the opponent in the opening two games of the series and deserves to win at least once. It will be tight again on Sunday and I think that KT Wiz Suwon will manage to win this time around.

Another match that seems hard to predict is the one between Kiwoom and LG. The Heroes won twice already, but both games could’ve gone either way. And yet, the Twins have struggled on the batting end and I think we will see more of the same on Sunday.

The team is not generating enough runs right now which allows the Heroes to win by the slightest margins and they should be able to rinse and repeat in game three.

The Wyverns won the first two games against the Lions and I’m not exactly sure how that happened, It has been close and SK had fewer hits on both occasions, but still found a way to register more runs than the opponent.

Samsung certainly has the potential to win at least one game of the series and better focus is the key to success. The Wyverns have been contained for most of the time, but they managed to explode once per match which was enough.

I believe that the Lions will be better this time around and won’t allow a similar scenario on Sunday.
