The second round of the current KBO series was once again very productive in terms of runs and drama. A promising build-up or the end of the week and I’m sure that Sunday won’t be boring either. I share my KBO predictions for all games from the top baseball league of South Korea.
There are no odds included because the bookmakers haven’t released their lines at the moment I’m writing this post. They could be available when you’re reading it, so make sure to check our top baseball betting sites.
And here’s a complete list of the games covered in my KBO predictions for Sunday.
NC Dinos vs. LG Twins
Doosan Bears vs. Lotte Giants
SK Wyverns vs. Hanwha Eagles
Samsung Lions vs. KT Wiz Suwon
Kiwoom Heroes vs. KIA Tigers
NC Dinos to Beat LG Twins
The second game of the series saw plenty of ups and downs, with both sides finding early runs. It looked like the Twins will be able to find the victory, but the KBO leaders had a strong late run to force extra innings.
There were no runs in three of them and the game ended in a 6-6 draw. That was still an improvement for the Twins that did well for large periods of the clash. And yet, they still failed to contain the Dinos and I believe they won’t have such a good chance to win on Sunday.
Doosan Bears to Beat Lotte Giants
The second clash between the Bears and the Giants was an entertaining contest that could’ve gone either way. And yet, the Giants showed better composure in the key moments to prevail at the end.
My initial thoughts on this series was that the Doosan Bears will win two of the games, but their inconsistent performance would open the door for one victory in favor of the Giants.
I stand by that prediction which is why I’m backing the Bears on Sunday.
SK Wyverns to Beat Hanwha Eagles
I’m glad that the SK Wyverns won the second game against the Eagles after losing the opener in such fashion. I believe they are the better side right now and their confidence should be boosted after that victory.
It won’t be easy because the Eagles know that they have a shot at winning too, but I still prefer the SK Wyverns right now.
KT Wiz Suwon to Beat Samsung Lions
In my KBO predictions for the previous round, I highlighted Samsung’s pitching problems and they were on display once again. KT Wiz punished the Lions over and over again, winning the game rather comfortably at the end.
I would normally expect the Lions to snatch at least one game, but Suwon’s explosive batting is too hot right now. I see no other choice but to trust KT Wiz Suwon once again.
Kiwoom Heroes to Beat KIA Tigers
The Heroes had plenty of opportunities against the Tigers, but they lack efficiency. If you add the shaky batting, it’s easy to see why KIA won the first two games. Kiwoom needs to contain the opponent to win and I think that game three will be different.
The Heroes have what it takes to improve their performance and should be able to get at least one victory from the series.
