Our KBO predictions are back for Saturday and we will dive deeply into the schedule to see which teams are worth betting on. Two games have been canceled in each of the last two days, so hopefully, all five games will be able to finish on Saturday.

The Landers still hang onto first place at 48-25-3, but their days are numbered. Kiwoom has been on fire and has crept within 1.5 games of them. If the Heroes stay hot and the Landers don’t pick up the pace, we could have a brand-new team in first place by the end of this week.

Are the Heroes or Landers among the teams we should rely on for today’s KBO picks? Let’s find out by breaking down the entire slate and seeing what makes the most sense. First, check out the top sites for betting on KBO action on Saturday.

KBO Odds for Saturday, July 2nd, 2022

  • Hanwha Eagles (+133) vs. Kiwoom Heroes (-185), O/U 8.5
  • Kia Tigers (+168) vs. SSG Landers (-242), O/U 8.5
  • Lotte Giants (+113) vs. LG Twins (-156), O/U N/A
  • Doosan Bears (+110) vs. KT Wiz (-151), O/U 8.5
  • Samsung Lions (+120) vs. NC Dinos (-168), O/U 7.5

Here are the KBO betting odds for each game on Saturday this week. It’s Game 2 of the series for most of the teams, which means Friday’s winners will be looking to start a winning streak, while the losers will be looking to snap it.

After an abysmal June, the Hanwha Eagles will be looking to turn the tide this month. They won just 5 of their 22 games (23.8%), which was the worst mark in the KBO. Their opponent for this weekend won’t be doing them any favors either.

Kiwoom’s sixteen June wins were the most out of any KBO team, and they are on a hot streak. The Heroes have a perfect opportunity to take first place in the KBO due to their easy weekend matchup.

Kia’s pitching has gotten the best of them lately. They recently released Ronnie Williams and signed former MLB pitcher Thomas Pannone in hopes of turning the tides. SSG will look to take advantage of that in their 3-game series this weekend.

This year, Lotte is winning the season series (4-2-1) against the Twins. LG has been the better team throughout the season, making for an interesting series. LG is favored to win this game, but it could be a close one.

Doosan and KT are evenly matched as well. The Wiz are leading the season series by just one game (5-4) and are favored to win Saturday’s game. KT’s offense has been gaining some steam, scoring 14 runs on Tuesday, 13 on Thursday, and 11 yesterday.

The Wiz’s pitching has been decent all year, but their hitting has been inconsistent. Now that the bats are hot, the Wiz could return to their 2021 Korean Series-winning form.

NC and Samsung have struggled mightily this season, so they should be happy to face each other. The Dinos have a slight advantage in their head-to-head record this year at 5-4 and are favored to win on Saturday.

KBO Predictions for Saturday’s Games

  • Kiwoom Heroes Over Hanwha Eagles
  • SSG Landers Over Kia Tigers
  • LG Twins Over Lotte Giants
  • KT Wiz Over Doosan Bears
  • NC Dinos Over Samsung Lions
Charlie Barnes

These are my KBO predictions for who wins each game on Saturday. Now that we are entering the second half of the season, these games will be growing more important by the day.

Kicking off our free KBO picks for Saturday is the Kiwoom Heroes beating the Hanwha Eagles. The Heroes have won their last six games in a row and 9 of their last 10. They are way too hot to bet against right now. Hanwha’s struggles continue, so their chances of beating Kiwoom on Saturday are slim.

Kim Kwang-hyun takes the mound for the Landers, who has been incredible in 2022. He has a 1.43 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and 8-1 record. He’s already faced Kia this season, holding them to just one hit and zero runs in 6 innings.

After a dominant start to his KBO career, Charlie Barnes has seen some regression. He got a win in 6 of his first 10 starts but has lost 5 of his last 7. Barnes hasn’t LG this year yet, but he’s allowing 3+ runs in 7 of his last 8 starts.

Adam Plutko, on the other hand, has allowed just two runs in his last 3 starts (21.1 IP), making the Twins the better KBO pick for Saturday.

KT’s offense is blazing hot, scoring 11+ runs in 3 of their 4 games this week. They are matched up with Doosan’s Choi Won-joon for Saturday, who has allowed 8 (4 earned) runs in 7 innings against them this year. The Wiz should have a great chance to score many runs again, giving them a better chance to win.

Drew Rucinski should be taking the mound for the Dinos on Saturday. He dominated the Lions both times he’s faced them, totaling just one earned run across 14 innings. Neither team has been reliable this season, but Rucinski has been one of the best KBO pitchers all year.

Top KBO Betting Picks for Target for 7/2/2022

  • SSG Landers ATS (-1.5) -114
  • Doosan Bears vs. KT Wiz Over 8.5 (-140)
  • Samsung Lions vs. NC Dinos Under 7.5 (-110)
Kim Kwang-hyun

That brings us to my top KBO predictions for today.

My expert KBO picks for this slate start with the Landers’ moneyline. They’ve been playing very well as of late and should have a good chance of beating the Tigers here.

Kim Kwang-hyun has been possibly the best pitcher in the entire league this year and has already proven to be capable of shutting down the Tiger’s offense. Kia’s offense is their biggest strength, which they likely won’t get much out of here.

That puts a ton of pressure on their pitching. Im Gi-yeong will be the starter and has allowed 3+ runs in 7 of his 11 starts in 2022. Kia’s bullpen hasn’t been sharp lately either, so the Landers should have the advantage in nearly every aspect of tonight’s game.

Next on my KBO baseball predictions for Saturday, we have the over in the Bears and Wiz game. I think the Wiz have the better chance of winning, but their starting pitcher could be unreliable.

Wes Benjamin is making his third start of the season and allowed 3 runs in just four innings in his last one. We don’t know what he’s capable of yet, so it’s best to wait and see. Instead, we can bet on the over, which the Wiz offense can hit by themselves with the way they’ve been playing.

They scored 6.7 runs per game in their last 10, ranking second-best in the KBO. Doosan’s not too far behind at 5.5 runs per game as well. Expect another high-scoring game here, which makes the over the best bet.

The next game should have the opposite result as the Lions and Dinos game. Unlike KT and Doosan, Samsung and NC are 2 of the coldest teams in the KBO. Samsung is scoring 3.6 runs per game in their last 10 (8th), while the Dinos are at a league-worst 3.0 in that span.

Add in the fact that Drew Rucinski will be on the mound; you should have a strong under bet. Heo Yun-dong has also allowed 2 runs or less in 5 of his 6 starts this season.

That’s going to wrap up our KBO betting picks for Saturday. Make sure you head to the best baseball betting sites to place your bets. Top Online Baseball Betting Sites
