Kayanza United vs. Flambeau du Centre Odds, Prediction, and Pick – Burundi Premier League, April 4
With just four games to go, the Burundi Premier League is racing towards an exciting finish at both ends of the table. Kayanza United welcomes Flambeau du Centre this weekend as it attempts to move away from the relegation battle at the bottom.
Although not mathematically safe, Flambeau du Centre has enjoyed a fairly successful season and should not have too many worries about dropping down to the Burundi Ligue B. But a point or three here would virtually assure its top-flight status for next season.
Read on through my Kayanza United vs. Flambeau du Centre betting preview for more.
Kayanza United vs. Flambeau du Centre Odds
Bookmaker BetOnline is looking to Kayanza United’s home advantage and makes it the favorite to take the points here. But Flambeau du Centre has been more impressive over the entire season, so the prices for the draw or even an away win look tempting.
After three consecutive victories in February lifted Kayanza United up the table, a run of three winless games since has put the club right back in the danger zone and in need of some more positive results between now and the end of the campaign.
With three of the four remaining games to be played at home, Kayanza can probably feel fairly good about its ability to stay up this season. Flambeau du Centre won the reverse fixture 3-1 on the very first day of the season, so a payback could be on the minds of the home team’s players.
Flambeau du Centre will be hoping that it can somehow recapture that early-season form, as the results recently have been fairly woeful. After winning seven of the first eight games of the season, everything was looking very good, but this is a team that has now not won since the end of January.
The 1-1 draw against Inter Star in the last game two weeks ago was the first point in five games, and any hopes of an outside shot at the league title have now disappeared.
Kayanza United vs. Flambeau du Centre Pick
A couple of months ago, I would have had this down as an easy away win for Flambeau du Centre. But the recent run of results has seen it plummet down the table, and it is now desperate to pick up points from anywhere it can. Kayanza has more to play for here, so I could see this one ending in a draw.
