Juventus Managua vs. Real Madriz Odds, Prediction, and Pick – Liga Primera de Nicaragua, April 11

This is another huge game in the Liga Primera as the fixtures begin to run out for those clubs still below the top six. With Chinandega picking up a few points recently, both Juventus and Managua and Real Madriz need to do well here to keep in contention.

The home side would seem to be in the better position, but a lapse in concentration in this game could let in a number of other clubs. Whoever wins this game will give itself a huge advantage going into the last two games of the regular season.

Juventus Managua has been on a good run of form of late, and MyBookie has recognized that it is the better side going into this game. Real Madriz desperately needs the points, though, so the odds for an away win are a little tempting.

After back-to-back defeats, Juventus Managua has suddenly found a rich vein of form at exactly the right time. The convincing win over Diriangen last weekend was followed up with a crucial point from a draw with Real Esteli in the midweek. Those four points have catapulted the capital city club right back into the race for the playoff spots.

A few more goals would help, but Juventus already has a far better goal difference than Chinandega in sixth place, and with just three games to go, there is little chance that will change. An attacking formation should be the way to go for the home side here.

But Real Madriz is in a very similar situation. Four points off the top six before this game, Panamanian coach Juan Ramirez will know that a draw at the very least is needed if the postseason is to remain a possibility.

Form has not been good, though, with two defeats and a draw in the last three games. But losing 4-0 to Walter Ferretti on Wednesday after managing a goalless draw with Managua at the weekend is an even bigger blow. Real Madriz has only scored 12 goals in 15 games, so this could well be the end of the road if things don’t go its way.

Even with Real Madriz needing a positive result here, Juventus Managua is rightly considered the favorite and should be able to achieve the win without too much trouble. The goals are usually shared around the home side, but Alexis Somarriba scored against Diriangen and is instrumental in most of the attacking moves from the midfield, so he will no doubt be important for the team here.
